What are the French doing in Greece? Those lands rightfully belong to the Byzantines!

And is that the Papal State in Naxtos?

I have no idea who's in naxos actually. It might actually be naxos...

As for the french, they were more powerful than me for a long time, and I suppose I've developed a subconscious aversion to bothering the french =p. I'll go crush them next chance I get

The Palatinate -> Germany. The year is currently 1713, and with my monstrous economy and manpower no one can really oppose me anymore. If I get bored I'll construct a massive fleet and destroy England.

Note the interesting things. Empire of Serbia, Empire of Georgia, Venetian Texas, mangled Iberia, independent Ireland, etc.

edit: Also, the little flag at the top of the image is my in-game flag. Germany's regular flag is a bit ugly :)

a) beutiful picture. How do you do it?

b)
Empire of Serbia, Empire of Georgia, Venetian Texas
- WoW, never seen that. Georgia usually gets to annex a few provinces before it gets totally owned by the Ottos. Serbia ... Well we all now what happens with it in game. Venice in Texas... mindblowing.

I followed Vishaing's mini guide found here.

The strange thing is I didn't intercede and help Serbia or Georgia at all

Started recently as the Pope, might turn part of this into an AAR.

Interesting note somehow Venice seems poised to take over the Balkans, this is the first time I've seen it be done to this extent, but most likely they will all revolt, but that hasn't happened yet, despite my positive influence in that matter.:D

Funny you should mention Venice in the Balkans - I just put my Germany game on hold because it wasn't a challenge, and earlier tonight I was Venice - and yes, conquering the Balkans

Now the real question is, which country am I?
I would guess Hansa?

1732 Muscovy - Russia game

This is my first game in EU that gone so far and I am really pleased with it.
Formed Russia in 1640. That could sound as late, but there were problems. Most astonishing is Polotsk - could you imagine it Western, Catholic, Land tech leader (with around 7 handicap to mine), papal controller, HRE pretender?!

Anyway. Vassals: Georgia, Kazakh and Chagatai. These represent my overall geopolitical strategy which I choose in very beginning - to develop Central Asia (with dreams of India) rather to colonizing Siberia (you could see my Land/Naval is -5 in this sense). But, the big problem rised - France. It is practically everywhere and in Persia too, tech leader also. BUT, as you can see I have cool ideas like Smithian economy and Cabinet, and no one else have these on the moment - I really want to know why.

Techs: Government - 35 (third), Production - 43 (shared second), Land - 34 (fourth). In order to get these I favored innovative and now don't have missionaries, but with two ideas have positive tolerance for both heretics and heathens.

Army 216,000 (second with Aragon on pretty same number, France has 410K)
Income - around 300 (second, France - 475, Portugal=Aragon - 280)

Some cool things I saw: Moldavia being a regional blob and owning Thrace; Bavaria owning almost all Germany and collapsed in less than 10 years, Mamluks taking over all Byzantine Empire territories with arms and not collapsing (only France and me gave them a blow); Delhi from Caspian to Indochina; England and GB exist simultaneously and colonizing - this itself is not a surprise, but GB is theocracy and for long time had its capital in its only European province - London (now it's in Africa); Aragon is cool - these guys I personally RESPECT, which can not be said of France, which are BASTARDS.

Before game ends I want two things: reach Pacific and control all Altaic culture territories in Asia, which means war with France for South Caucasus and east of the Caspian (for reference - they are allied with Nogai), so I would be grateful for advice!

Figured I'd combine the F12 and shift-F12 screens into one screen. Dark blue = Royal Domain, light blue = client states.

The French Empire (and the United Kingdom of France & England) in the 1640s (started in 1480s). Austria became a megablob and just recently was taken apart by me (though they still hold Turkey). Savoy is the 5th most powerful country despite being my vassal, and strangely has a considerable empire in Africa.

That is one awesome map.
