A new start

Portugal, 1676. The idea was to abandon Europa as soon as possible to have a new start in a totally different place :)

My Brandenburg > Prussia > Germany campaign. Current date 1654.

Burgundy controls most of France and France is a vassal of burgundy = ) Russia formed almost 100 years ago and is very powerful.

The papal states managed to conquer most of Italy, never seen that before, even though I were at war with them several time since they attacked HRE members, they have huge armies.

Japan got a larger army than ming currently!!!!!!!!!!!!

Taungu is the nation that controls the burma region, never seen that either.

Also, entire Europe except italy and spain is protestant thanks to me : D

Unless the player has renamed the file, you can always know the year of a EU3 screenshot by right-clicking on the picture and selecting "informations about the picture". It will show the name of the file, in which is the date. For example this file's name is "EU3_MAP_POR_167666_2.jpg" :)

I, and im sure alot others, use google chrome. It doesn't appear.

Right-click and choose save image. The suggested file name will be what you're looking for. (Afterwards just click cancel to not save the image.)

Click "Inspect Element". That should do the trick. It should say, in a hyperlink,
<img src="http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa15/Herenui_UO/EU3/EU3_MAP_POR_167666_1.jpg" border="0" alt="">.

The yellow part is what TCM was talking about.
 
Yes, i am sorry, i don't know every browsers, i just use one ;), but what i mean is that there's certainly always a way to see the name of the file, and that in the name there's the date. That said, you are right, we should always post the date with our picture. Post edited *nods*
 
Sweden: The Northern Empire

Started in the 1453 Start Date, so I'm about 40 years in.

1453-1463: Independence War (from Denmark's PU).
1460s-1470s: 'Cold War' between me and Muscovy. Spheres, alliances, and troop positions all along the border. Ended when the Golden Horde came back in force and attacked Muscovy.
1470s-1480s: Land expansion. Acquired the Estonian area with some missions, protected my vassal Finland from Portuguese and English invaders, and helped out in the Lithuanian (ally) defense wars against Austria.

Austria inherited Hungary and now are a super-super power. With 110k troops, they have a bigger army than Ming! Colonization is just starting and Tuscany is a big player in Italy.

Currently have the mission to vassalize Norway. :eek:o

The Pan-Slavic Empire of Bohemia is complete. All West-Slavic, East Slavic and South Slavic cultures provinces (except Albanian and Romanian) have been annexed. All German and Hungarian provinces have been Settlement Policy'd.

-Greece-turned-Byzantium and Finland are the only Orthodox countries left in the world (I force-converted the Russians to Protestant, then let them do the heavy lifting of converting the provinces before I annexed them all).
-Speaking of Byzantium and Finland, don't be too impressed by them. They survived because I kept intervening with tagchanging.
-The green country in Indonesia is a shoddily modded Malaya (created before I knew the formation requirements for DW Malaya).
-France hasn't existed since the early 1500s, Ile-de-France keeps getting annexed and released by changing parties.
-Finland has colonies in the Caribbean (before they were Finnish they were Moroccan, and before they were Moroccan they were Aquitanian).

--Working to reunite the church, the Papal State no longer controls Roma
----All Eastern Orthodox nations have either been vassalized or annexed.
----Just defeated the strongest Protestant nation (Austria) and carved them up like a turkey, then their neighbors took large bites.
----Preparing to wage a long war against France and topple the most powerful Catholic nation. Could pose a serious threat due to their national ideas being nearly all military as where mine are mostly economic, and they can support about 80k more troops than I can.
----Currently holding the holy cities of Rome, Jerusalem, and Mecca. ALL of my provinces are Eastern Orthodox.

Currently Holy Roman Emperor (have 3 electors as vassals)
Have Western Units and Western Tech Tree.

All of this done with no cheating and no reloading.

Kept not getting elected Emperor of HRE due to high Badboy (even my vassals wouldn't vote for me), so sometime around 1600 or so, I disolved it so there would be no Emperor to protect Europe
Currently leading personal unions with Russia (green) and Castille (gold) ... the world is mine.

Played some of this while drunk, so there was a bit of reloading when I'd do something monumentally stupid.

Arbitrary goal #1: Unify Iberia, Italy and Occitania ("Occitania" meaning all Occitain, Gascon and Aquitaine provinces; Gascon and Aquitaine provinces were save-edited to Occitain culture when they cored).

Arbitrary goal #2: Annex at least one Native American country, then release them as a Catholic vassal. Succeeded with Maya, Super-Shawnee and Inca; England ate Aztec and Zapotec before I could.

Arbitrary goal #3: Colonize all of the Caribbean islands.

Arbitrary goal #4 (added in the turn of the 17th century): Collect islands.

First time playing a colonizing nation, as well as first try at being a warmonger.

I save-edited Maya to Western tech and they immediately started colonizing random patches of the Americas. (Inca starts out that size in 1483.) I have 30 years of gametime left, I'm thinking about releasing Maya from vassalage, just to see what they'll do.

The Basques stay as a vassal, because I like the Basques.


Points of interest:
-SONGHAI. They've westernized, and waiting for their ADM 8 heir to come of age so they can modernize their military.
-Both Morocco and Songhai hold small slices of India.
-Irish Brittany.
-Hansa AKA Hannover-Prussia.
-Riga holds almost all of OTL Latvia.
-Ramazan has become the Ottoman Empire instead of the Ottoman Empire.
-Super-Croatia is in the process of eating Bulgaria/forming Greater Yugoslavia.
-Romania formed.
-Zaporozhie's and Georgia's survival is largely attributed to my tag-switching.
-I gave Makassar colonists so they could have all of Sulawesi.

Aquileia turned out to be my first lucky stone. Didn't get far in terms of land. Sweden called me in to destroy Madgeburg and Denmark but Denmark was all I could get in addition to Venezia. A failed land battle but successful colonial battle.
