Nah, I'm happy when I get the +50% taxes. I've taken Livland from Lithuania since then.

As some may have noticed, both Great Britain and Russia have formed. Elsewhere in Europe, Castille got curbstomped by Portugal and Aragon, but is making a recovery against both.

No colonizing yet since QFTNW has different requirements. Testing some custom missions/events/decisions to increase Italy/Germany forming, encourage Prussia/Austrian growth in the HRE etc

France hasn't collapsed, though I did win back Calais and Aquatain for them.

Castille went through a stage of antagonizing Aragon but quickly forgot it's missions to whittle down and eventually annex it's neighbour. One rough war with the Otto's seemed to be a kick in the ass it needed to eat Aragon. France beating the living daylights out of Aragon for Corsica and Rousillon might have helped too.

Milan and Naples double teamed the other Italians for a while, contrary to both having poor relations and cores on each other. Milan took inniative before I forced the situation though.

Russia will form once Muscovy has worn off it's rather high (17) WE from a recent clash with pretty much all her neighbours.

Austria looks vaguely like a bow and arrow, but has been less than entertaining thus far.

Edit: I have the Azores/Canarias and Madeira due to an event I made. Any country with a least one port and it's capital in Europe will get an event to discover them (individually) anytime after 1420, MTTT of 50 years (coincides with Spread of Discoveries). High focus on Naval and Trade reduces MTTH (Merchant ships get blown off course etc)

That's not Saxony, it's Prussia. Alternate decision, if relations are at 200, has RM and alliance with the HRE and a 7/7/7 leader, Brandenburg can form Prussia without having to be Protestant or Reformed. Brandenburg pulled it off. I sold Munster/Oldenburg and Brunswick to Brandenburg so I did help them along some.

Changed Prussia's colour, for my own taste. Might darken the Blue/make Purple, havent decided.

Why it's Greece! I changed Kaffa(?) to Tartar so Greece can't revolt there, Venice got into trouble ( is now annexed as you can see) and Greece appeared complete with Athen's as it's capital. Had to Guarantee them, can't let the Turks omnomnom them.

I find Greece if left to flourish will quite often go on to conquer everything in the east med. One Japan game Greece was the first Euro I encountered via it's colony at the Horn. That Greece was a Kaffa-Greece, false in every sense =/

Start was slow, needed to get a few national ides so that i could protect myself from a few different things (being broke, being out-shiped and being out-gunned) but now that im standing on my feet, its time to start eating what is now a breaking HRE (modified and added some events/conditions/decisions to increase HRE dynamics, it shifts within certain perimeters etc.)

To your left u might notice Le Blobbe becoming greedy (thanks to their huge colonial empire in Canada), bellow me, ull nice Boredemburg my junior union partner, bellow them ull notice Das Habsburg Blobben, and if u take a look at your far right ull notice a huge yellowish evil-looking Bear blobing all over eastern Europe (go Масква! Ура!). Ottomans collapsed in 1450s, but are now back and kicking (Hurray!!!!), Sicily actually managed to form Italy (i was like wtf? when i saw it) and Spain is being all shy (apart from few colonies and usual north African rampage).

All in all a lot of fun (prolly the most ive had in a while). Currently working on adding some more stuff.

Back to topic, Brandenburg is currently refusing to be inherited (so does Norway grrr) so there isnt much i can do. Italian decision has been modified (slightly, ive had to remove owns = rome (id) condition as othervise it would never form). Spain doing its thing was all AI (well adding like 10+ provinces in Iberia might have helped, slightly ).

I will NOT allow Moscovites to form Russia, cuz im currently blocking Novgorod from their greedy hands, i really dont wanna fight Russia after formation decision and some 40 cores it will gain, luckly me, i know how that adventure ends (hint Napoleon ). Oh and yeah, Eastern units have been modified to some 90% of Western units stats, sadly, not even this helps Poland survive in some 60% of my games

Protestant Scotland revolted from Catholic UK (which got annexed by Protestant England rofl). The rest of Catholic Scots decided to defect to France, since frenchies refused to convert to Protestantism, even tho ~80% of France was Protestant.

In the WWM mod, I am going to make it super-easy for Poland to become part of Western Tech. Hopefulky this together with the ton of added new provinces will help it.

I think the heavy use of missions need to be added to help Poland along, as well as turing most Ruthenian/all Galician/some Belarussian/Ukrainian provinces to Polish culture. (which wouldn't exactly be ahistorical. )

But when you think about it, IRL Poland was always fairly close to destabalizing. At the start of EU's timeframe, Poland was still a fairly young country after being renited after the fragmentation following the Piast dynasty, and later in the timeframe the nobles having too much power meant Poland was incapable of times (The Deluge) and eventually was the main cause to the partitions being so succesful. But Poland was still very strong country, and it never collapsed after the Piast Dynasty.

Also, I am going to take a look at your mod. If I rip some ideas out of it would you mind? btw, I can see from the pics on this page that Silesia could probably use some work.

Like i wrote in my mods readme, i added provinces based on CK map, without too much care about historic accuracy, meaning mostly names and borders. I simply did it cuz its fun and changes EU3 experience a lot. I am however, interested in improving my work, so if u show any interest in some area and share with my ur thougts (if possible some sort of map, or at least correction by hand in paint it would help) i will most certainly include it in future versions.

U, and everyone else for that matter, are more than welcome to use my mod in parts or as a base for any other work, no credits or anything required (but always welcome). If anything, id be honored if any of my ideas got accepted into some of the bigger and famous mods like WWM.

If u wanna help Poland specifically, first of all, give them unique government with exact bonuses they need (dicipline, moral etc) or create ceratin triggered_modifers that give them bonuses under some conditions like hold certain region/provinces, have less than X number of provinces etc. Giving them COT in Poznan or Krakow wont hurt as well.

Oirats from a 1648 start date. Equalized tech levels, which might have made things too easy. Manchu and Ming are in PUs with me. Still tribal. I like to think that I've revived the Mongol Empire, though in fairness the Il-Khanate and most of the GH aren't included (though I did take Sarai).

I am playing as Scotland
I have been vassalized for nearly 200 years by England. After starting a good colonization of North America, I devassalized, while England was busy in a war against France (very original...)
I can colonize the rest of North America without fearing another colonizer (just a bit taken by England and a province taken by Austria.
Now I am allied to France and to Ireland, so I don't think England will declare war to me...
Here is my map in 1707 - Scotland is in yellow. I am only in North America and greenland (and Scotland)
