My Brittany game in 1644, the first game I might actually finish. Brief history: I began as a trading power, had 5 merchant in every CoT in Europe, royal marriaged everything for prestige and legitimacy. I planned on colonizing and got Azores ASAP.
Then France DoWed me(they had all of France and half of Spain at the time). I was left only with my capital and 3 isles I colonized in the meantime. But I had a core on Azores, so I colonized Manhattan, spent next 50 years colonizing the area around it, scrapped up 1000 ducats somewhere and moved my capital there. France collapsed, loads of minors sprang up, I got my old provinces back. A long period of blank colonizing followed. I realized that I stupidly didn't conquered Aztecs and haven't took South American coast, so Castille got there and now I will have to root them out.
I also took a bunch of colonies from Great Britain, but didn't realize there was an event causing stabhits when badboy is high and ended up fighting rebels, repelling DoWs, and burning infamy for 30 years.
Now I have the highest income and biggest navy in the world and I'm currently still burning badboy and continuing colonization.
Plans for near future include colonizing everything there is still left to colonize and kicking Castille out, as soon as I get the badboy off me.
In the world, not much happens. Great Britain and England coexist peacefully on the British Isles. Castilians are angry that I took America from them and regularly unleash their frustration on the poor Ottomans. Vyjan..Vyganj..that ligtly blue/grey Indian nation conquered the whole India and collapsed again for 2 or 3 times by now. Morocco is an Empire, and the master of Africa. Persia is doing well. The Austrians see something interesting in low tax, low manpower provinces of Madagascar and are colonizing it enthusiastically. Yaroslavl got incerdibly lucky in the beginning and formed Russia.
