In most of my games if not all, Egypt ALWAYS gets torn apart by everyone, Ottomans begin with their core wars and after Egypt has been raped, they will get attacked by Ethopia and after that its just a piece for everyone interested, Dutch, portugal, spain, italy, you name it, anyone goes. Its not uncommon to see Egypt completely gone of the map. Just an observation.

Hello. I have an Empire of Japan.
Nothing special, but its the best game I've had so far. I'm very proud of it.

Westernized without a single reactionary uprising.
I choose the military-industrial complex and developed the most advanced military in the world.
I colonized all of the tiny Pacific Islands and annexed Hawaii. I took what I could get away with from the Europeans. Infamy gets in the way of my master plans.
I conquered Korea, Manchuria, and the Vladivostok region in order to follow history (somewhat).
The rest of the game was spent waiting for infamy to die down while defending and trying to break up a civilized China. Near the end China was weakened enough Persia and Dai Nam invaded.
I'm surprised by the lack of great power interest in Africa. Im upset by Soviet Canada. I can deal with Poland and Poland-Lithuania, but still ...

Krakow always gets sphered or has an ally that makes it unlikely to ever join a liberated Poland.

Looking through my saved files I found this:

I had such an hard time to make this I did not continue the game past the formation of the P-L Commonwealth.... Took me no less than 15 or 20 restart and some save scum late game to do this. Oh I forgot, I started as Krakow

Owning cores from Germany, Austria and Russia is HELL

Overall the game went great, the reconquest of the Roman Empire is done.

Because Italy had HUGE colonies in Africa, and I couldn't conquer them all. Thus I couldn't take their capital :/

wow, I can't believe I didn't notice that. Very unfortunate. I really hate it when the countries I want to conquer ends up taking all of Africa

In 1864 as Great Britain I took Palestine using the place in the sun CB. After that, and as soon as you've researched Revolution and Counter-revolution, you can enact the Balfour Declaration, which makes Israel releasable.
