Spelhus, make life easier on yourself. Take the states around DC, so that when DC rebels appear, the rest of the country can't stamp them out. Their army will revolt over and over, and pave your way to take the entire country with ease.

However, I have been told, multiple times" "Those are the ugliest border's I've ever seen" and "my eyes hurt to look at this" or "this map should be a bannable offence to post"... but your borders are indeed very pretty.
At this point all he needs to take is Maryland, so it wouldn't be that bad.

UK thought it'd be good idea to attack me, even though for those 4 months that war lasted till the end, they didn't really do anything. Whole Asia was at war over Guanxi independence, which cause quite a recession. USA had Laissez Faire party so their score fell by few hundred. I thought I wouldn't be able to do this, due to game limiting soldiers at 5%, which is imo stupid, since many times in history countries had way more than 5% of their population as soldiers(some do even now.) But somehow managed to pull through with alliances n stuff.

Look at what germany lost- Pommern, Magdebourg? PruBen west and east, not too suprising that they went Facist. Especially if they lost multiple wars against P-L

Poland beating up on Fascist Germany? Well then, history took a wrong turn somewhere.

haha, not if that poland owns all the good lands around central Europe. Only civilized country with more population in the states than me was USA and Chinese Empire. And that's probably because USA was getting 5k+ from every major country in the world each month.

I noticed, all my games in the newest patch so far, The German Empire forms EVERY time in 50s/60s, beats up Austria and takes Bohemia and turns into behemoth. Then it gets anti-military party, gets ganked up on and turns Fascist towards the end of the game. Don't know if they got some unique fascist events or something, but it's a bit weird.

makes sense. Bohemia is huge, and probably did not like being occupied. compared with liberal agitation, and no revanchism since all cores are gained, anti-military or liberal parties would get into power. Then, with anti-mil and reduced warscore, the other AI GP's like france look at it as a weak country. Gank it, drive up WE, if they loose Alcase, get revanchism = pushes up facism.

Strangers from beyond the sea

There are rumours of exotic strangers in weird looking ships making landfall all along
the Atlantic coast, speaking no known language, trying to buy land in exchange for obsidian beads, colourful feathers and gold.
After refusing their offers, local rulers were apparently threatend with terrible curses
and the might of a great emperor from beyond the Atlantic Ocean.

Just a regular France game, playing with high speed.
France is really OP, relative to Prussia and the UK, in my opinion.

1) I don't even bother to build much of an army. Every time I wanna fight a war or crush massive rebel, just mobilized.

2) It is super easy to deal with Prussia, Just sphere say Denmark, and bye bye NGF.

3) Prussia fell into massive disarray after I activated The Left Bank. I used something like 50 brigades + mobilized troops to fight Prussia 57 brigades + mobilized troops + OPMs. By the end of war, I got Rhineland + Nordelin, and Prussia has 0 brigade. I think I lost like 2 brigades.

4) Later on, Eastern and Central Europe is absolutely crazy. Prussia, Poland, Russia, Austria, Italy, everyone is fighting everyone nonstop. I don't think there is even a single peaceful year. I think culprit is core spreading too fast, and AI behavior totally depending on core. At one point, Prussia, Russia & Italy all fell of GP list.

5) There is also something seriously wrong with AI not prioritizing NF clergy. I hit 100% literacy before 1900. Prussia at end game ended with 83% literacy.

6) By demolishing the Royal Navy with a well-timed war with the UK when Scramble with Africa just about the start, I managed to grab all of Africa and 2/3 of Pacific. Too easy. All colonies turned into states, even Luzon, except Java and Cuba.

7) Other than 2 incidents (One, grabbing Yucatan; two grabbing Tunisia), I didn't even bother to perform amphibious warfare. Didn't build a single brigade in America, Africa nor Asia.

8) Don't know if this is your experience as well. In pretty much all my games, Poland fights the most stupidly. Their timing for declaration almost always wrong.

I know this thread has seen a lot of big grey blobs, but I decided to disregard infamy in my latest game and recreate the Holy Roman Empire. I think the borders look really nice.

Hungary and Britain were the only ones besides me to have African empires after I dismantled France. My best friend is Hungarian so I always like making it a powerful country.

Yes, those borders are really nice. Is that a mod?

Also, what is that really light blue thing in the Russian Far East?

Generally I don't post any empires until I've finished the game, but I like the end result of this map, so I figured, eh, why not.

apko.jpg

This is the world map from the AAR I',m currently writing. I'm obviously playing Central America. Much of the map isn't too bizarre so far, save for a larger than usual Central America. It was nice to see the Ottoman Empire take a bit out of Austria. The Otto's are still a great power actually. Not by much, but hey, they're still there! At the time of this map being put together, France controls a large chunk of Prussia, Prussia controls a large chunk of Austria, and Austria is busy invading Italy... so I expect once that mess gets sorted the borders will look quite a bit different!

I'll be sure to post another map once the game is all wrapped up!

Basically I just won the initial war against Texas and the US. Antonio López de Santa Anna with his +2 attack secured my victory fairly easy.

Due to the reluctance of the other great powers to contain non great powers especially on other continents I was able to get a 100% warscore peace deal and acquired Georgia, Florida, Oregon, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Alabama if I remember correctly.
Of course I was promoted to a great power shortly after. That was when things got really dirty as an alliance of the UK and Prussia declared a containment war on me and started what I simpy call the circle of death and destruction. They refused to peace out unitl I built up a warscore of +20% after years and years of fighting more or less victorious battles.
Unfortunately the truce with the US expired almost at the same time. Again I was bound in a year long war mainly fought by my mobilized reserves because I simply lacked the resources for a regular army. I managed to hang on and grabbed another bunch of mostly colonial states only to realize that the UK again already declared war on me and so it started all over again.
And it did not stop until the late 1870's

Here is another picture. It's 1880 and I survived the grudge match with the US. The Uk was busy fighting crisis wars against France, Austria and Russia so I got some time to breath and build up my economy and more important to reduce my exorbitant war exhaustion and militancy.

I will post an update when I take my revenge on the UK and launch Project Sunset Invasion 2.0.

It's... It's...
Please good sir, show me the ways of defeating the Yankees and driving them into the sea

How Did you get your map to look like that? Did you just edited?

Yeah, just some tweaking of the screenshot in gimp to make it look a little fancier.
