Took a while for the discovery to spread; turns out Spain had been focusing entirely on Brazil.
I switched between England and France. Every time that I formed England all of my provinces were removed from the empire even though I was the emperor. I did it in 1.18.4 so it could have been patched.
I was using that as a guideline but like starting as minors so I started with Lorraine instead of France.

'Factionalism'
I quikly conquered all of Ireland within the first five years and made a huge Irish vassal, then I waited and developt my capital state to 150 Development (3 Provinces of 50 development each) and build a huge army, which was a little smaller compared to Englands army. In the meantime I also annexed Ireland.
I saw my chance in conquering England when England send 32k troops to Denmark for some stupid war and I called France into the war. France quikly moved to London because Englands navy was busy around Denmark which made me win the war already. From then on I conquered every small part of England step by step until London. Also colonizing played a huge roll in making a lot of money (North Sea trade note) and having a huge army and navy ready for anything, anytime.
Conquering France was also easy since Burgundy was still alive and I simply formed a chain-alliance around France together with Spain and Burgundy, and so I crushed France.
Provence became under my rule mid-game and it helped me a lot with conquering France.
This was a very smooth and fun achievement run!
