Historical lucky nations, AI bonuses, hard AI. Poland turned Commonwealth. Protestant, not westernised. While waiting for adm tech level 10 to inherit Lithuania, I messed around in HRE a bit. As a result, I managed to gain enough provinces there, to profit from Lubeck trade node (I'm controlling Hamburg, Lubeck is about to be conquered as well). Capital moved to Stettin.

Moldavia and Zaporozhie are my vassals, and Sweden is my ally (Russia is more or less crippled thanks to that).

Also, earlier Kazan game. Abandoned. Without lucky nations, and AI bonuses game becomes too easy quite early (but later than in EU3):

You achieve that by 1608. Damn I'm impressed. Can I see your teach groups?

Sure. 'Divde and Conquer' policy in Russia was the key (I helped Novgorod a lot). I managed to vassalise Perm, which had quite high techs giving me nice neighbour bonuses. Then I switched to Muslim tech-group, and managed to catch up quite well. However, I'm stuck with nomadic units. I also took 'Innovative' idea group as the first one (-5% tech cost), and Aristocracy as the third (-10% military tech cost).

I present to you the second largest country of this world, the Defender of the Catholic Faith, controller of both Alexandria and the cape, successor to all civilization south of the Mediterranean and instigator of World War one 150 years before it was supposed to happen.

All provinces in Africa are either mine or uncolonized (including the tiny islands around Africa). No provinces outside Africa are mine :)

Got a bit painful in the end. France (largest army with over 300k) was allied to Russia (3rd largest army with around 100k) and the Ottomans (5th largest army with around 80k). I at the time had about 120k troops, of which about a quarter were mercenaries. Ottomans and France were the only 2 countries aside from me and my vassals that still held provinces in African so obviously I wanted to take them out. Which I did manage to do. Followed by my deciding I didn't want to war with those countries again and taking every single African province from them at once for just over 200% OE. Game decided to troll me a bit after that by throwing me a -3 stability event and then just spamming stability dropping events whenever I got to 0. Most of the time even trying to keep me at -2. Rebels, rebels everywhere.

My Ironman England to Emperor game.

Won HYW, pushed a PU for Spain around 1490, Colonized the good places, Integrated France, force-vassalised 3 Electors, PU with one (saxony). Spend next 100 years becoming emperor (Reformation knocked out two of my vassals for votes). Ended up becoming emperor because went to war with current one (Protestant Bohemia) so my protestant 'pet' electors wouldn't vote for him. I win with 3 votes. Integrated Spain, did some stuff in India, inherited Saxony (I become an Elector) Start to work on pushing reforms. Push a PU with Portugal (after 250 years of alliance, mwhahahaha) Austria gets too big and refuses to vote yes on Revoke the Privilegia. Peace out with them by breaking a OPM vassal off mine. Unite the Empire, Integrated Portugal. And thats where I got to now. Probably won't continue, not much else to do. Would have ended after Uniting the Empire, but Portugal had some of the Caribbean an I wanted the Achievement.

I love the fact that that Austria is independent of the empire, it was bad enough that you stole the imperial crown from them and now they must live in shame that they aren't even part of the Reich anymore

It's been much more fun playing as Xi rather than Ming. I started out with only a dozen provinces and fought my way to superiority. First move was to kill Zhou which I then made a vassal of, then PU Shun, then Korea and just recently Oirat Horde.

Starting as Naples (Ironman Hard), I formed Italy, conquered India for the achievement, got lucky personal unions with Spain and Portugal in the 1700s, integrated them... and I got a shit ton of land.

I own almost all of South, central and west America, some provinces in Africa, parts of Russia, all of Australia and New Zeeland and finally, some provinces in the Philippines.

Lol, I find this very funny because in Chinese, Xi means "west"

My Great Britain game in 1693. I quit this game around this time because I was getting annoyed with the long coring times. Though I've since figured out a few strategies to get around that. Provence and Auvergne were recently released as vassals by me, so I could core a few provinces in SE France. The Ottoman empire is still somehow getting more points than I am.

I dropped out of the 100 year war early, with loss of only two provinces, allied with Castille and took them back+more, after that France was slowly eaten by me, Castille, Brittany and Burgundy. I PUed Portugal, and much later Brittany. A lot of my wars (and long coring times) came from trying to keep Spain out of the Americas, largely because I didn't want to spend the time eating the Native Americans, but I didnt want spain to do it either. I also had to spend some time taking their colonies in Asia (it's really hard to core other country's colonies).
