I was actually fishing for some reply on how to explain. It was meant ironical. You can't expand that far West without expanding even a little to East. Impossible with current mechanics.
I was meaning to point out that Ironman mode stuff is still exploitable and can't be trusted (check my other replies on other threads about the issue on the same timeframe).
My post was to prove that you shouldn't believe every Ironman stuff you see. But people like to flame before thinking

:happy: It's a bit hard to detect sarcasm across the internet at times, mate. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but folks tend to get a little defensive about players that try to pull sneaky things. Just keep that in mind.
I understand. I have a similar issue for the folks that try pull sneaky things as well. That's why I posted that in order to point out stuff. But your reply happened while I was writing mine so it was misfortune.
The main problem was I was suspicious of several before posted Ironman mode screenshots which seemed "too lucky". I have been playing over 10h+ daily since the launch (14 days -> 150h+ already) and try to follow the forums for tips and tactics. I keep playing Ottomans over and over to better my game. But even with all the mini-managing some stuff is impossible at early game (manpower+money issues + too many enemies to handle).
There are things that are doable but some stuff are just currently impossible. Yet, I saw some posts that shouldn't have been. So, I was searching for a way how it was possible and stumbled upon this.
For example? Most of the screenshots I've seen seem quite reasonable. (Don't take this the wrong way, I'm just curious)
It can't be proven without checking year-by-year expansion or savefile. So, I don't want to accuse anyone but some shit really stinks.
What do you see often that seems impossible? Most impressive claim I saw was 1470 Castille vassal claim. I managed to pull off 1480 one (Aragon and Portugal were both alive and doing well thoough) while being bit sloppy due to my lack of skill so could you be more specific regarding implausible claims? Of course no naming because that's just opening floodgate for flaming so just broad goals that seems impossible in your opinion, but are claimed by others.
My first full game of EU (started with ck2, eu's great why didn't i ever go back and play any of the other eu's!) and first ironman game, took a few hours of figuring out how to handle the ottomans to start with and not get insta smashed as Byz (and a few days of figuring out how to handle the game / finding ironman mode/achievements), was going gangbusters till about 30 or so after I westernized, got hit with some pretty poor rulers / mass coalitions of european/eastern/muslim nations. had PU with milan and had austria/algers/tripoli vassalized, but ran out of time Also, not sure when exactly it fired (was pretty early on in the piece) but got the restore the roman empire achieve (probably when ottomans driven from anatolia at a guess, after driving them from balkans, but didn't notice till i randomly saw i got it a few days ago)

PS. don't ask me what happened to France because I have no idea, I was doing the rounds of checking on them and Russia, only to see all the French nations loose, not vassalized, and Frances capital in Banda Oriental down in Brazil.

Well... here come my first Ironman, from the game begining to the last day playable. I started as a simple Daimyo, Japan united at 1478, colonized a region in South Africa, with core in 1625 and then I started the westernization. After that: expand, expand and expand all I could.

France actually collapses quiet frequently its got like a 50/50 shot like Sweden. I am on game number 15 and its collapsed more often then not. Needs a strong Spain and a decent/strong Austria usually they will then coalition with the 9000 small countries and dog pile them. Then demand release of nations and vassals.
Ming)Manchu. Muscovy got the worst borders in the game. 4-5 small regions spread out from Scandinavia to Japan, lol.
fair enough, probs only the 3rd or 4th game I got beyond 1600, and they went rampaging through the west german lands whenever i was colonizing up a storm as castile, probably explains it though since I left them to their own devices.
oooo really like the name by the way. But remember England has 2 of those in their possession
