Hey, I'm new to forums, I'm a big fan of Crusader Kings 2, but alittle intimidating in playing EU4. (but I like to use EU4 as an overnight alternate history simulator, while I sleep). One day I'll play it. But anyway, I had a few interesting screen shots to post up of what happened at the end of 2 simulations. I'd be interested to see what others have ended up with, through their game play or simulations. I'm really digging the colonization feel of the new world.
Here's the world in 1790, in my first sim....
Europe...
In this one, it looks fairly close to history, the HRE is still there, the Ottomans have conquered, and Italy is called Ferrara.
North America...
This is where all the fun starts. The Spanish have taken most of the United States, and actually... where is the United States? I guess Britain fell asleep, cause all they have is British Columbia, and Nova Scotia. And wait! There's a Nova Hollandia! Did a bit of research and the word "Nova" is latin for "New" I suppose. It would be nice to actually see Scotland make Nova Scotia, but will wait for another simulation. Also, the Scandinavian colony of Vinland has taken up the northern part of Canada. Which I didn't expect. Go Vikings!
Asia
This one is also close to history, cept the Brits fell asleep again... better get them some coffee. And the Persians are kicking butt.
