Let's get this started shall we?
For my first game I only thought it reasonable to play as France.
I started out by gobbling up the smaller German states, after that I dallied a bit around, waiting for any targets of opportunity. It was only after a couple of wars with Austria and Prussia that I found out just how effective the French land morale truly is!
In hindsight, I should've played WAY more aggressive!
All in all, it's a tad weak in single-player (Although I suspect veteran Paradox modders are already churning away), but I can imagine this will be very strong in multiplayer. It's usually the other way in Paradox games
But I digress, lets get back on topic!
