Never seen Hungary going this way. Arpad created the kingdom of Bosnia but he didnt manage to make Croatian one. Sadly, gavelkind did its job later and Croatians also rebelled, allowing Moravians and Bulgarians to bite some of Hungarian territory. Still, now there are Arpads in Bosnia and in Hungary and there are still weak duchies around...

The Holy Schism was mended by Catholics, although I admit that I cheated a bit: I removed the requirements that needed one Monarch to have the four Pentarchy seats (but they still had to be Catholic and owned by Latin Patriarchs). But since Antioch and Jerusalem were controlled by a powerful Catholic Crusader State itself, I saw it as plausible. Il-Khanate helped a lot as it converted to Catholic faith by itself, long before the schism was mended, and they destroyed Islam in the east (until the Timurids came and their realm started to crumble).
All in all, quite a fun campaign.

Exactly this. The capturer of a holder can, if cruel or an impaler or similar traits, murder the family inside.

I started as custom count Luciferos Sathanos ( Messalian ) under the Duke of Achaia, claimed the title, knocked him of the chair and im now Duke myself ( well actually my son as Luciferos died of Syphylis at the age of 35 ). 2 of 4 of my vassals are Messalian already but i have a problem with converting provinces ;( And im bethrothed to my Strong sister ^___^ i love how sick this game makes me behave
