I could not try to create the Saint-Empire Romain, because when conquering Burgundy I lost the casus belli on the Aquitaine, then it goes in the basic Empire of Lombardy, I now intend to make tributary the Kingdoms of Baiern, Deutschland and Aquitaine, and then I will decide what to do , perhaps create some vassal kings and leave the number of vassals below the limit.

Capital, CoA, map color (which is so sexy IMHO), and almost entirely different starting de jure territory. Also some flavor differences in terms of minor titles, although we'd like to (and planned to) add more flavor differentiation between the two. We've carefully coded EMF so as to always treat either version of the HRE as the HRE. E.g., if your SER manages to also conquer up through Lubeck, the Hansa can theoretically form under the SER instead of just the German HRE.

What colour is the 'sexy' SER on the map?

Wait how do you have the new portraits when HIP hasn't updated to Holy Fury?
But HIP is now compatible with Holy Fury, see the download of the New version as a post

Is that an Iceland owned Aquitaine/Burgundy? The hell happened there?

A member of rurikovich family did a invasions of Aquitaine and won. Conquered the other lands and inherited the Iceland kingdom. The rurikovich got kick out of russia, So I guess rurikovich family tried their luck in Western Europe.

This viking guy almost reunited the lands of eastern roman empire. But lost Constantinople to a steppe nomad adventurers. The whole Anatolia area is big battle ground of steppe nomad adventurers looking to taken the land from remaining eastern roman states. Its probably because the oghuz drove out every steppe nation out that the steppe nomad adventurers are looking to settle in Anatolia.

He took Constantinople from the vikings, Constantinople got depopulated and Theodosian Walls got destroyed

So should I remake the Persian empire and do Alexander the Great dream of making fusion of Greek and Persian cultures. Or the found a new Hellenistic empire base in Bactrian.

First ice those Oghuz hordes!

I don't know... It feels much more realistic to move South and conquer Persia and Northwestern India. Then let the Oghuz do as they please. Besides, Persia and India are richer and states there tended to negotiate with the tribes instead of outright conquering them.

Besides, the collapse of the ERE could be seen as an omen to try to restore Alexander's Empire.

Go the historical Bactria route - invade India, become a Greco-Indian fusion Buddhist, and then invade everyone in your sight to show how peaceful you are. :p

The beginning of the decline of the Lombardy Empire.

After reaching its maximum extent, from some lands in Britain, having fought and conquered lands beyond the Pyrenees, conquered Bohemian lands of Slavs, liberated Croatia and Nordic invaders and until it reached Malta, this great empire begins to declining on behalf of its governors.

Cesare the Noble, the greatest emperor in Europe since Charlemagne found his pinnacle in 40 years of prosperity, he saw Iberia being lost to the Muslims, he all Brittany being lost to the Nordic invaders, and even saw his empire be eroded by various internal heresies that tried to take a splinter from the Christian decline. But even so he prevailed, and at his death the crown passed to his brother, who had long been the King of Lotharing, was known for his cruelty, lack of scruples, and wickedness (all vassals had an opinion of tyranny his). He would be called Settimo II, the Shadow, but it would not last even a year, everyone in the Empire was against him.

They put Baldassarre, son of Cesare, but it was only 2 years old, it had its cruel touches and was only softer than Settimo II, the factions installed Adone, King of France in its place, but nevertheless the decline only increased , from 2% at the end of Cesare's reign to now 34%. And as a consequence the Empire was invaded by the Khaliffa Wasi when reconquering Navarre and being invaded by pagans to the East and North, probably going to succumb again to internal problems, would this be the last pillar of Christian defense? Soon the one that only comes down, and will get the whole civilized Europe.

(Feeling like the last Roman emperors of the West!)

Keep us posted. I want to hear more.

Baldassarre with the intention of catching his throne, revolts against his cousin and Emperor, Adone, 15 000 soldiers go to the capital of Adone, and in a siege the troops of Baldassarre conquer Bar-le-Duc, before the troops of Adone arrive, and fortunately he himself is found and imprisoned after the conquest and is finally forced to pass the Empire to Baldassarre, while Adone is still in his dungeon. And that only increases the decline of the Empire, which was to 51%.

Is this a "Turning Point" in the history of Lombardy?

The Continuing Decline of the Lombardy Empire.

Baldassarre effectively conquered all Al-Andalus from the Khalifa of Al-Umawí, but was already at the end of his rule, past emperors ceded some powers to the council and also backed down the law that allowed the Emperor to revoke the titles of lords of other religions . On account of this his death a year later led to the dismemberment of Al-Andalus, with the new Emperor Agostino, a count of the family of Milano that had its lands between the kingdoms of Baiern and of Croatia, its real power was little, and it did not obtain to keep the suzerainty in Al-Andalus and literally the Muslim lords declared themselves independent, since the Lombardy did not have like to effectively control those lands.

Agostino ruled for 2 years, and his son inherited the throne, Vittorio the Glorious. That failed to contain the various Saxon invasions to the north and in Baiern, where the Empire was defeated when Vittorio was arrested in battle. The Emperor's only people lands were taken and the Pope ends up supplying the Castel Sant'Angelo to the Emperor.

Vittorio in his 23-year reign, spent most of his time fighting against invaders to the north and religious rebels, one of his defeats was in a planned invasion of Holland lands that belonged to the pagans of Denmark, that fiasco returned in glories in his victory in the 2nd Crusade by Jerusalem that with its important victory placed its nephew on the throne of the Kingdom of Jerusalem. He found his demise fighting against Saxon invaders to the north.

By far, 2 Emperors who tried to raise or stop the decline, but that because of early but natural deaths very early did not realize their ambitions of life, what could come from bad now after all?

The final Fatal can be close, from the moment that the Emperor has his capital in only one holding, and above all outside the territories of the Empire, that means that there is no way to call more than 1000 personal soldiers, whereas only a vassal king has the power to tear the empire in half, diplomacy and intrigue to end the ambitions of powerful vassals is working.

How can you only have a Barony?

I am officially Afraid. There is a bear on the loose in the world who is eating her prisoners. Guess this is what happens when you allow the AI to have supernatural events. Mind you the world is shattered and so is culture and religions

My son, who had CELTIC portrait, has also turned into that bear, and then later turned back to human, but with NORSE portrait. I really don't understand this event, but I enjoy it.
