OK, so I was playing a Quantum Leap game, and scroll out to take stock of the world after my last king united Arabia and the Levant. And this isn't my current character, but the AI Karalpaklars.
Hungary is a direct vassal. control all of Crimea (aside from Theodoro).
Triburaries are HRE, ERE, Poland, Pretty much all of Russia (sans Polotsk), And Georgia (which expanded into Alania and Kazaria).
You read that right, A Tengri, nomadic horde pretty much controls Eastern and Central Europe, after only about 2 decades of play time (started at the WIllaim the Conquerer start),what started as a lowly tributary border state to Kiev. not only turned the tables on them, but managed to nab HUngary, and controls both the HRE and Byzzies.
HAve to give it to the AI here, I was not expecting that.
Edit: I randomized the lucky rulers and it looks like his line got the trait. but still, there's Lucky and then there's this.
One of the reasons why I decided to make the Black Caps vassals of Kiev rather than a tributary horde in the upcoming version of SWMH. They either do extremely well or extremely bad, and historically they had more settled and feudalism-ish aspects than their current horde status would suggest.

There's nothing more disgusting than seeing feudal realms leak into the steppes

Started as a greek orthodox vassal of the Rum turks in the Alexiad start date, I went trought a process of turchification during the decades and I tried to keep my orthodox religion in secret at first, but I failed.
At first I've taken control of the sultanate, then I started to invade the Byzantines, until I kidnapped the last female heir of the comnenian dynasty, I married her and my son inherited the Empire as a Turkish Sunni ruler. Now I'm also the Caliph, basically the Ottoman empire arrived discreetly early.
I'm planning the submission of every leader of the major religions, I will let the jews rebuild the third temple only to subjugate the high priesthood and move the rabbi to Thrace. Then a large-scale invasion of continental Europe. (probably neved had so much prestige with a single ruler).

Quantum Leap game?
I think it means he switches dynasties every time his character dies.
You play as one character, said character dies, you save the game, reload as random character, play as that character until his/her death and repeat. Its purpose is to create interesting situations where you are put into difficult position because the country you got was not lead by extremely competent rulers in the past decades.

ALL HAIL GLORIOUS MUINAISUSKO EMPIRE OF GREATER FINLAND, now just to fight that Finnish-Korean hyperwar

ck2_4.png

Something I found interesting is that during my conquest of Scandinavia, many viking nobles fled to Britain, where they united into a single kingdom and are currently wrecking the Anglo-Saxons. Maybe they will reclaim their homeland someday

ck2_2.png

Also, how. IS THIS THE FIRST SIGHTING OF THOSE KOREANS!?

I know this is not that special, but it is my first Roman restoration I did in HIP (the one attempt that was almost succesful ended with me accidentally rewriting the save with another one and since my previous computer was pretty slow, I never had the willpower to go through that again). Starting from Alexiad bookmark, where I played as duke of Thessalonica.

Speaking of Rome, I decided to revisit my Varangian coup campaign
ck2_14.png

Keisari Magnus "The Glorious" Leifson, first of his name, reuniter of both Rome and Christendom, as well as one of the most OP characters I've ever had

As is Varangian tradition, before he was coronated he launched a massive, continent-wide war, which saw Gallia and Britannia brought into the empire. He earned the nickname "The Saint" for mending the schism, but that same nickname has been ascribed to both his mother and grandfather. Before he mended the schism, he had the nickname "The Bear", for his conquests of Western Europe

ck2_13.png

Also, Romuva reformed. With Catholic and Sunni moral authority so low, maybe they will carve out an empire over what's left of Germania

Also, should I make an AAR about how to do the Varangian coup?

An upadate to the Varangian campaign, the Caliph declared a Jihad right after Keisari Magnus died (a natural death. No one was able to kill him in personal combat). His daughter, Keisaraynja Snøfrid defeated and captured the Caliph in personal combat, forcing him to call off the Jihad, and earning her the nickname "Lionheart". Keisaraynja Snøfrid arrived back in Miklagarð to a Roman triumph and her coronation. She now sets her sights back to conquering Europe.
ck2_16.png

Also, Keisari Magnus was made a saint. That's three saints as rulers of the empire in a row. I wonder if Snøfrid will remain that pious

This is from my current RP playthrough. HRE turned Jewish (and not just "emperor turned Jewish and got deposed"...he managed to convert most of his vassals...we are all Jews now). Hungary was conquered by Tengris from steppes (that´s when this screenshot was taken). They turned to Buddhism and settled in Croatia. Hungary became Khaganate under Árpáds. Then Romuva religion got reformed.
Three years I waited for crazy religious situation in Europe in my RP playthroughs. This is early Christmas (also, HRE has since been on defensive after losing crusade for Lombardy...chances are, it will actually disintegrate by itself so fingers crossed).
