Probably the most interesting consequence of the Seljuk Empire totally collapsing into warring Emirs only some 20-30 years into my Norman County of Sicily game. A Liberation revolt at that time spat out this monster, a Miaphysite Armenian kingdom large enough to be a local power in the Region.
Muslims are a bit weak for some reason, yes. Decadence is a bit harsh right now, which will be relieved in the upcoming release. However, this definitely doesn't explain the Muslim religious authority problems. To be honest, doesn´t that empire always collapse? I mean, ERE is always huge OP blob, HRE is blob with its own problems, sometimes it blows up, sometimes it is stable, but generally OK and Seljuks lose their imperial status (also, aren´t Muslims kind of weak in this mod in 1066 start, I have seen every crusade succeed, but no jihads).
That's because the event that forces them to do so is bugged unless you update to the EMF beta. Also the seljuks don't really seem to follow up on the armenian invasion, which prbably ties in to the broader pacifistic behaviour of muslim realms

How did this happen? Well, an English Earl killed the Norwegian King in personal combat. Harold sails to Normandy and takes over all of William's lands, while William is in england and takes over all of Harold's lands. Eventually William wins, even though he sits in chanins in the French kings dungeon after an attempted rebellion. I attacked and slaughtered many of his poorly organized armies before meeting any serious opposition and by then it was too late.
It is only a matter of time before Flanders rules the universe.
(Maybe you should make tributaries break free of their master if they have x percentage more troops to avoid stuff like this)
is that a decadence revolt in a decadence revolt?
is that a decadence revolt in a decadence revolt?
[Gir voice]I don't know. [/Gir voice]
I just happened to look at it and laughed.
Now I want to see if you can string up the right events to launch one of those. It's just the silly way that the CK2 engine lately constructs the text for event troop descriptions. It's not a decadence revolt inside a decadence revolt.
I really want to see a decedance revolt in a decedance revolt now![]()
