Here's the greek Assyrian Despotate (Kingdom)! Thanks to a fractured middle east that has been inflicted a
myaphisite bolgar realm, numerous zoroastrian invasions, and decadence revolts, the paulician dynasty (albeit mainstream orthodox) was able to carve a kingdom in the muslim heartland!
Will the Assyrian Despotate survive, aided by its powerful Haikeren and Byzantine allies, or will it suffer the wrath of the crescent? Let us hope this christian miracle will not be remembered as a flash in the near-east pan.
btw nice greek localization. Did NOT suspect it went as far as Baghdad.

Oh no I did it again
The Tulunids declared war on me, and the morons I just took a ton of land from joined them against me... They know how to hold grudge. Stackwiped the latter, white-peaced the former with the help of my kinman buddy the Eastern Roman emperor.
Then I immediatly declared war on the guys who held just what I needed to form Mesopotamia and move my capital further south, i.e to rich as fuck lands.
Fun fact: The Shia Caliph is in Italy

I'm more intrigued by the two Hayk states. What in the hell?
It’s common enough in 867 games. It’s a titular title held by a Bagratid whose line frequently manages to create the de jure title, and then one way or another the kingdoms split.
It's my, perhaps a little clunky way of portraying how the Armenian Naxarars were firmly united under Bagratid rulership, before the Armenian Kingdom was recreated. I either had to demote all the Naxarars to Counts or create a titular Grand Prince Kingdom title for Armenia

Why not have it so the titular Grand Prince title is destroyed when the de jure Kingdom of Hayk is formed?
Don't you worry, that kerfuffle in Hayk was but an ephemere situation, the kingdom has been restored under its rightful lord (not without the Basileus' help).
Waging war against muslims is very draining in resources, as half of the known world goes knocking on my door, and my allies' help is not of the most prompt. I took a more relaxing routine and whacked the lonely Zoroastrians instead.

Nothing in the De jure kingdom of Mesopotamia. 3 counties in de-jure Assyria. The Antioch region has been 100% Orthodox for a while.
Qasar jewish volga bulgarians, yes. They didn't stay there very long, but the land is still Qasar.

It could be done, although if somebody else owns it besides the de jure title creator, it will be problematic.
If the same person owns both titles, the titular version could be destroyed upon creation/acquisition of the de jure version. However, if that's not the case, destroying either title is broken both from a game mechanics perspective and from a coding details standpoint (even if we don't care about the other holder, simply destroying the title will make all of its vassals independent if not protected by holding another kingdom title).

It's not THE zunbils, just people who have the zunbil title. They're a different dynasty and muslim.
But yeah, they're scary. My main foe right now is those Tulunids. I'm at the 5th war with them, and I think I might lose that one as ALL my allies bailed.

I honestly don't get why there isn't a limit on this. i mean homosexual pops up around the right time but lustful seems to show up whenever it wants.
