Someone did it with Ryuku as well, but unless you're someone like PrawnStar, I doubt anyone cares.

someone should create an empire with the new world nations. Is It possible?
Yeah, like that one time someone conquered India as the Cherokee(?) and because of its ugly green color it kinda looked as if he had formed Hindustan.Do you mean an Empire like a big country? If yes, then tons of people have done Native American Empires.
dont forget the Iroquois near-WC one guy did.Yeah, like that one time someone conquered India as the Cherokee(?) and because of its ugly green color it kinda looked as if he had formed Hindustan.

as a pagan.
Nice empire. I have a 1399 Byz game going myself that's in the early 1600s, and this will give me something to compare with. I've been focusing on different areas than you did and creating more vassals, but your game is pretty much what I hope to end with.View attachment 95564
This is my Byzantine Empire game in 1820. I have molded the campaign around becoming an Eastern orthodox crusading theocracy with my my capital in Jerusalem. Rome, Moscow, Cairo and the future Belgrade are all in my hands as well as the extremely wealthy Greek capital Konstantinoupolis. By the year 1820, all but two recently incorporated provinces had been converted to the Orthodox faith.

The holy land under my rule.

From Egypt in the south to the Russian heartland in the north, Rome in the west to the gates of the Orient in the east. With its spiritual heart in the holy land. All under the sway of the ancient Tetragrammic Cross.

That makes sense. Any nation encompassing Russia's borders would gain more from continuous territory, and that means few if any vassals. As for where I'm focusing, well, one could argue that I'm not very focused at all. :laugh:I did have many vassals but I diplo annexed all of them, including Russia, which I founded as a vassal.
Which areas are you focusing on?

As you can see, I'm a ways off from where you are, but since I still have a bit less than two hundred years left, I think I can get close to where you are in that time. I won't have a continuous empire, of course, but I'm more interested in colonizing unusual places and imagining the changes that would happen as a result anyway. In my world, most of East Africa is unified under a single Orthodox vassal state, Italy is solidly back in the true faith, India has several technologically advanced (land tech 20+) Orthodox vassal states, and Greek is a significant language in the New World. It's like your unification of the Orthodox people: a wonderful re-imaging of history.[/IMG]![]()

Alexander the Great never conquered India so that doesn't make sense. He only captured a bit of land stretching the Indus but India was much bigger than that.
In addition when he left the land was in Indian rule within 10 years.
If we're going to nitpick, India didn't exist at the time, so of course he didn't conquer it. However, he did conquer what is today modern Pakistan, a country that until recently was part of India. I'm inclined to give fishbulb some slack, and in any case, it made perfect sense to me.Alexander the Great never conquered India so that doesn't make sense. It's going well, but it occurs to me that there's a problem. When you played Byz, you played to its strengths, namely land power and proximity to a large number of technologically inferior nations. My strategy's working, but that's the issue--I'm adapting Byzantium to my strategy, while you seem to have adapted your strategy to Byzantium. Your way seems better for both a role player and a strategist now that I'm really considering it. My way's leading me to the same empire I build with every country, and it's failing to utilize the unique opportunities Byz provides. I'll have to be more mindful of this in my next game.Looking good, kind of a foot hold all over the place. Pretty much a solid base to continue expanding in any direction, possibly event linking up India to Greece - Alex the great style.
So, happily forcing thrones and building up my Brandenburg game.
Why does this never happen when I play Poland![]()
They did immediatly put a guarantee on me, wonder what that means.....
