Everyone around me imploded on their own, but boy am I thankful.
I'm most upset with Bohemia; I was toying with the idea of joining the HRE when Croatia was forceably released from Hungary by Bohemia and joined the HRE itself. Unfortunately since then Bohemia got smaller and I got much, much larger (so they wont let me in). Oh well.

My current game as Cyprus:
I've been playing slow and methodical this time around. I've resisted getting involved in any alliances. I've also avoided military conflicts in Europe. I did make a land grab in the New World where I took out the Mayans and Aztec to get a big chunk of land in Central America. Right now I'm planning on continuing to build my trade up (full Free Trade slider) and to further expand in Central/South America.

Delhi formed Hindustan really early and with Kandesh below them completely converted India, then they subjugated the hordes along with Lithuania. England inherited Sweden and Portugal and with Burgundies help conquered France, Burgundy tag changed around 1760. I don't know how Inca survived since it has been at war with Denmark several times but Huron survived due to an alliance with England since 1530. Interesting note is that the reformation crashed, there is no reformed country and Bohemia is the only protestant.

Oirat -> Mongol Khanate (custom decision) just prior to turning Mughals. I didn't have the heart to fight Emperor Riga, so I didn't have much choice. :laugh: They have a respectable army of 90000 and three provinces of Ireland, too. If they can convert one elector back to Catholic, they stand a decent chance of keeping the HRE.

I suggest that, when you are done with Cyprus, reload as Austria and try and create the "Global Austrian Barrier" by expanding east until you rendezvous with your self in the alps, it would be fun to see how the isolated north would turn up!

I've been drawn into wars with Denmark, Venice and Prussia due to allainces with vassals in North Africa and Iraq (an ally since the 1420's which I forced... someone?... to release) having PUs with most of the small muslim countries in turkey that I forced the Ottomans to release.

How can you have personal unions with countries of a different religion?
