With all these oriental influences, I can't imagine how the works of Michaelangelo and friends (artists, not tortoise!) would look like!
And I guess Machiavelli would be proud of this "vassal religious prevention scheme". But how does it exactly work? You sell of provinces you don't want to convert at the moment?

As a patron of the arts, the works are breathtaking, I assure you. :laugh:As for the vassals, basically I just made sure to keep one of every flavor. I did conquer some land in Swahili in order to colonize the two areas behind it, then I sold them back (except the CoT of course). I will give them land that is worthless to me, but I pretty much solidified those borders.
My Danish Empire, I lost Sweden,I'm going to get Norway in a few years.Its 1505
I recently finished a grant campaign (normal, no lucky nations) as BYZANTIUM. and in 1821 I was #1.
Memorable events:
- Swallowing Ottomans pretty easy
- Started colonising east africa
- Inherited Spain (all of Iberia, north africa coast and florida)
- Major decision to hold on to it -) I lost many many years putting down rebellions.
- then a one castille province showed up which I defeated and forced to remove all spanish cores.Then I converted spain to Orthodoxy lol
- Bribed Austria, Sweden, and England constantly to the point they became allies and married my kings.
- Colonised all of USA-Mexico.

Ancient Republic of the Congo update! Woo!
Stopped expanding on the African continent (via colonists, anyway)
Finally made a border with Rome, after I felt powerful enough, and indeed they do "feel threatened" by me. So we'll see who makes the first move. I plan on waiting untill either the Rome Collapses event (if there even is one) or when all of the cores start appearing (for the nations comprising rome after it breaks up)
So I'll be sure to help it out if it doesn't collapse... hehehehehe. Got a million soldiers on the border ready to clobber Rome.

I used to be allied with them because I was one of the few countries with their religion (the Egyptian Religion)
Rome went to war with them and they tried to call me and I was like LOL, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. They ended up losing, obviously. Glad I never sent colonists to border them, heh.
This. Although I commonly mod the mod, plopping countries in times they don't belong for fun =P. Also added a ton of crossings.

Sigh.
That was a mistake, Rome.
Ended up releasing the Gallics. Allied and Royal marriaged and all of that. Hopefully They'll be helping later when we finally kill the b*tch.

Good for you. And the screenshots look ... erm ... screenshots anywhere, somewhere? I guess not.
End of the game, since I accomplished my original goals (and then some). not shown are colonies in St. Helena, Bermuda, Taiwan, and Okinawa.
I always knew Navarra was an epic nation, but I didn't know it had the power to relocate entire peninsulas! RIP Bermuda. You've been replaced. :mellow:
There are many Navarra's like his, all are interesting. Though I'd honestly be more interested in an Navarra>France or Navarra>Spain (preferably Basque France) than colonize all of America. That's just my opinion though, I don't want him to change how he plays.
My Scandinavian Empire in 1480:
Started as Denmark, expanded aggressively into the TO to keep the union alive. Norway was inherited on the second king, but I then went through 3 kings in the span of a single war then had one that reigned for like 50 years so I couldn't inherit Sweden. That beautiful Krakow came about thanks to the GH. Poland got in trouble early, and the horde monopolized on it, pushing up to Mazovia, which was still independent. One minute I saw Mazovia occupied by the GH, and poland (down to their northern territories) covered with rebels, and when I checked next there was OPM Krakow and Mazovia had taken over all of Poland. Once Krakow got occupied, I figured they were a goner, but they capitalized really well on a lucky TSC and then got core mission after boundary dispute after claims on our rivals I was more than happy to help them out.
Unfortunately, one of their wars pulled in England through cascading alliances. I had to lose some sphere to keep them from taking a few of my poorly defended Norwegian provinces, and that gave them free reign to annex both Mecklinburg and Pomerania, who were my vassals. After that I went into rage mode, DoWed them with alliance, and occupied all their allies' mainland provinces and just kept punching their armies over and over until I could stabhit them into releasing both of them back into the wild. I then got a series of annex/vassalize missions in NW Germany which culminated in the death of my king and the formation of my beautiful light blue empire.

Now imagine Krakow eating GH and then reaching Ming. That would be ridiculous.
