does trading become a problem when you aren't able to compete out any of your league members? Or does that not count for the leader?
Amazed by Bohemia and it's 250.000 troops forming the Holy Roman Empire, with Burgundy having conquered most of France and colonized the southern parts of America and still being a part of the Empire.
It's like blending vodka and moonshine and be able to drink it without passing out. HRE now has over 315.000 men, which is more than Great Britain, Ming, Mamelukes and the Ottomans combined.

It doesn't look like Russia formed there to me - I think it's Novgorod with a hint of Qasim Khanate.
I'm assuming the player in said map is Pegu or Ayutthaya, or maybe even a Swahili that conquered South East Asia; I can't tell exactly if the colours are the same.

Ayutthaya, indeed. Converted to Confucianism in order to become Ming's little brother a century ago, been allied for just as long. Dai Viet has been my loyal vassal since pre-historic times, I once fought a mighty Muslim Brunei for 21 years.

Terra Universallis, I usually play Steppe Wolfe but untill they figure out how to make it stop crashing every 2 seconds...

Hmmz, in the right thread this time.
Two centuries of learning to play EU3 with expansions. My "funniest" mistake was not realising Infamy affected merchant placement chance... while having 30+ placed merchants :/
Castille, Portugal, Scotland, Sweden and (ugh) Austria are lucky. I col-blocked the first two and repeatedly beat them into submission. Sweden boomed at first but got contained by Russia (i helped by making them release Finland). Scotland got contained by me, i plan on taking all English-culture provinces.
Austria and Burgundy gobbled up France (nice bit of historical karma) and had an arms-race. The Emperor got to 240K, Burgundy to 180K. At some point Austria's army vanished (bankrupt? default on loan?) and Burgundy & i jumped. I successfully split up both, although Austria just became Emperor again and are at 80K+ troops now (with 10 provinces...).
Bohemia and Russia ate the Hordes, they both have vast armies and are Defender of Faith (Bohemia is Protestant).
Took me a while to figure out how to keep Allies that are allied to/guarantee countries i attack. I lost Naples and DoF/foremost Muslim nation Byzantine that way. :/
Not sure how odd this is, but the HRE has 64 members thanks to my interventions.
Shame i already picked Adm. Republic before i found out you need to be a monarchy to be Emperor.

From my current DaT game. Started playing as the Wild Jurchens, formed Jurchens and have been in a periodic war every 20 years with the Ming, their allies and Jossen. I would have taken them out already if it weren't for the fact that when the Jossen attack always when the Ming do. I've beaten the Ming back twice now, both times taking provinces from the Ming. My hope is that I will eventually beat the Ming into falling apart and leaving me the dominate power in the Far East. So far this strategy has worked as the Ming ended up releasing a host of nations after the first war and rebellions are spreading again now the second war has ended. This is my first game as a Khanate, when can I swap to another government type?

Timur got at in your game too i see, i don't think that ever happened in vanilla EU3.
1399 Morocco, Vanilla 5.2b, random lucky nations and very hard.
Castille is pretty awesome. Been in many many wars with them over Grenada ( my vassal). Their army is close to 200k but navy is 1/4 of mine. Will form Spain soon. After my beating down of Portugal to get Lisboa (never allied with Castille), they got a PU with Portugal and then inherited them very quickly.
Nov has been very strong throughout, by miles behind in tech and starting to have many wars with the West. Sadly Lithuania has a couple of the required provinces.
Vijay is massive and nearly formed Hindustan - however they are in a time of troubles and lost one of the provinces to rebellion 1 year before Ceylon cored.
Malaya is close to forming, however they need them 4 provinces which they have to colonise. I don't think that is very fair so I might just make them send their colonists. Then Malaya forms
Denmark inherited Sweden early but lost Norway. Sad as they are close to scand.
Lastly Barbant is one province from forming Netherlands. Sadly burgundy has it. I may help them get it somehow (using Morocco not console/save)
My plan is to retake Iberia and continue taking my Caribbean islands. A strong Mamluks/OE and myself makes Africa a real power in this game. Just sad that I'm the only one with modern tech.

I am playing as the Manchu and managed to get a personal union with Ming and inherited by 1416.I have only cheated for colonist and i have only played 17 years in this game.
Note Worthy things
Genoa is eating the Golden Horde and i have never seen that happen.
Iberia has the same borders as 1399 borders.
