GLORIOUS! One of my favourites!
The only bad thing is that you needlessly cut the Russia in two :D

Well you know those Ruskies, if you dont cut them in two, theyll cut you :)

A small contribution:

Fun game :D (Oh yeah i added a few countries from other mods as you can see)

Normally I wouldn't post this here this early in to the campaign, but I need some strategic advice

The year is 1421, and I feel that I have made good progress towards getting Jihad. I have, however, exhausted every avnue of expansion, which is irritating because I have been at peace for a whole 3 years now. A stroke of luck allowed me to vassalise the Jalayrids in a single war (one of thir provinces ceded to me very quickly, which in turn lowered the cost of vassalisation to 98%), but now that I've taken all nations north of me that I can I'm stuck. I can't attack the Mamluks partially bcause of a truce but mainly because I'd have to take land from them brfore vassalising them which would put me over 10 provinces, and I can't expand any further in to India because of a network of alliances (still on 5.0). Where do I go now? Oh, and I don't mind taking a -2 stab hit, because govt. tech is 9 years too far ahead, so I can use the time to rebuild lost stability should the need arise.

You got a navy? Bust through Swahili, there's some gold provinces down south that are quite valuable.

I can't go over 10 provinces because I'll put myself at risk of getting the incapable ruler midifier and TSC's. The provincs I have now are the minimum I can have for maimum benefit. I also ddon't want to waste 2 stab on African minors.

Who wouldn't take a 2 stab hit for mega-ducat peace as well as gold provinces...? Who cares if they're African? It just makes it easier. If you don't want to go over 10 provinces then why ask what you should do next?

It's possible to expand without taking provinces. Im vassalising as many countries as I can bfore reforming the government, atwhich point I will begin diplo annexing. The prospect of a high ducat peace deal didn't cross my mind before, so I might just do that actually.

i had dreams of an african republic trading nation but as soon as i westernised in around the 1500s the ai had different plans.

all of europe went in to a feeding frenzy over my tiny nation(as soon as i could make peace with one another blob joined in with all of there allys.)

the blobs refused white peace no matter how much time WE(20%!) or men they lost due to attrition so my only option was more war to on the near by minors and crumbling mamluks to gain more vassals and land my dream for african republic trading nation was not going to happen.

after nearly 100 years of running away and retaking my territorys the day after the europeans moved to the next one i could finaly fight back(sorta)

p.s. spears do not work well vs guns

my first win vs the europeans...

also dont even ask how many rebels/pretenders and comet sighted! i had to fight in this game.

My Empire after the unifications of France and HRE:

EU3_MAP_HRE_1616922_11024x768.jpg

EU3_31024x768.jpg

I like to roleplay so I decided to change the name of the HRE to simply "The Empire" after I unified Germany as France. I first decided to call it the "Western Empire" in honor of Byzantium who still exist in my game, but why acknowledge them when you are so much stronger? :)

Scotland and Prussia are vassals and Spain was inherited by the Empire soon after it was formed when my monarch died. After some organization and stability, its time to head East...

I also changed the colours to more match its French ancestry.

A question though: Is it possible to add more monarch names mid-game? Don't want to much German influence on my Empire that still has a dominant French culture.

how did you change the colour?

In the common/countries folder, there is files for every country playable.

Open your (or anyone) country file and you see at the top the word "colour" followed by numbers. Since I don't know the combinations for specific colours, I used the colours for Revolutionary France by copying their combination into the HRE and voila.

Ex: If you want the Byzantium purple, copy their number combination.

The number represents RGB value that you can easily check for each color in paint or any other similar program that lets you customize colors.

This is getting a little off topic, but is there a way to make the HRE color a variable that depends on the color of the country that formed it?

Now build a death star, fight the rebels and blow up a few planets. The "Emperor" demands it!!

To bad that his title still is king (Absolute Monarchy). Would be nice if the title could transfer as well when you change goverment. Though that's just a game mechanic, he is still an Emperor in my head. To bad his name will be Albrecht. Is it possible to add french names as well into the country file or must it be a new game?

My last game with a mod of mine (AladdinSane) : Tuscany->Italy. Then turned into a "heradicate the catholics" when I turned protestant. Pretty succesful, but I won't convert the last catholics, got bored. I'm HRE BTW.
France was pretty blobby early game, then collapsed (namely when I force converted them to protestant). Spain was insanely realistic ( in Europe ) taking land in the Netherlands. Africa is almost uncolonized, America not so much (as of 1775).

Take the land you need and sell it to vassels(for 0 gold if need be) or friends. Southern Egypt could go to Ethopia, some of the Sinai and lower Jordon could go to the Hedjaz, etc etc. Mameluks get weaker, you stay under 10 provinces. You will have to deal with the Infamy though.
