Mamluks and its vassals:

Nice. I'm doing the same thing but on the north side of the sea. Got extremely lucky early on with a suprise PU with the Mamluks in 1426. Suprising what you can get without trying.

and two years later I inherited my brothers to the south.


I imidiately released Tripoli as a vassel and dumped the poor NAfrican lands on them. And after a grueling 30 year campaign against the Timurids, I had secured almost all of Mesopotamia. I had to give Georgia some land to shield myself from GH. Not that they were tough, but I wanted to keep useless wars with Nomads down to a minimum.

I built this up in a 30 year period (1460-1490) in a community game we were playing.

The only way I managed to survive was because Ming was collapsing (hilariously, both Oirat Horde and Chagatai are Celestial Empires), Korea wasn't that interested in attacking me (despite having alliances with pretty much everyone I was at war with and constantly joining wars against me, they always tried to white peace out from the very start) and Viganyanadadgasd (however you spell it) was far too interested in forming Hindustan to deal with me.

I did eventually, however, get into a horrible war with Hindustan. They couldn't reach me properly, though, so I just destroyed any troops they got through until we could reach a peace deal.

Overall a fun game and I might try the community game here, too.

Woo. My second ever 'completed' EU3 game. Much like the above, I inherited the Mamluks and went from there. It's 1807: the colonies are just a mess with some of the colonial nations having appeared, and the Papal states have migrated to Germany and Iceland since I kicked them out of Italy. Oh, and Tunisia got massive, but I decided not to meddle and I went towards India instead.

I'm a bit dissapointed with how Britain and Scandinavia both collapse in on themselves -every- game in DW. Hopefully when I start playing on low agression with my next game, that will bring them more stability.

Milan > Italy

Savoy and Granada (pet Muslims!) are my vassals. Portugal is my loyal ally. Almost everyone else hates my guts. I make over 150 ducats per year. The new building system combined with Italy's naturally rich provinces makes it almost too easy. My goals for the future are the conquest of southern Italy, the conquest of the rest of Iberia (which I will give to Granada), and the destruction of the Holy Roman Empire.

I love how much Castille screws itself in different ways, in different versions. HTTT it always expanded into N Africa, but never formed Spain. In DW, it seems, it always explodes similarly to the Bard's picture above. And Portugal and Aragon seem content to let Castille sit there for the rest of the game, usually warring, and never doing anything about the situation.

The really cool thing is that Lithuania hasn't blown up yet! That's a rarity.

Its been fun until France decided to inherit mega ultra giga Zaporozhie, now, im just simply scared Denmark is huge, but dirty poor and barely has any manpower (just the way i like it) so theyre not a threat despite their current size. I also added like 5 revolting nations there, so they will be balcanized in due time. Nethelands was formed by twice, first by Holland that got annexed by Brabant who then decided that its time to from NED again. Fun. They got invaded twice or maybe three times by France but they utterly kicked Frenchies, that was very nice to see, but then the damn Habsburgs formed PU with them, not so good. Austria is the current emperor and they are probably the most powerful country in the world (maybe Frenchies are first now dunno), they keep coming for me, and the only thing keeping me alive is the fact that France attacks them as soon as they go for me with their mega alliance. Italy is pretty much a mess, just what i wanted tbh, and Spain is doing good and bad from decade to decade, the only reason they are not part of France is because i added a narrow wasteland in the mountains (much like the one in northern Finland) and imho that was a good call.

Im currently messing around with game modifiers, i actually caused nations to inherit/form personal unions much often. Austria had inherited Bulgaria and Lithuania some 30 years before that screenshot. About 5 years before ss they attacked me, and for the first time i kicked their asses, so managed to take everything you see as mine west of Berlin, including 1 or 2 ports. Since theyre emperor, theyre constantly at war with someone, so they can march right across HRE, board ships in northern Ger and sail to Bulgaria, which what they used to do. After the last war Lithiania rebelled (i disabled rebel movement, so theyre static now, they stay where they spawn) as Grodno, while Wilno (sp?) remained theirs, where they got core via event (i wrote event that gives you core under some conditions etc.) just before rebelion and managed to build some 5 units, so they marched down and annexed Lith again, funny. Now that i took their ports im pretty sure Bulgaria will fall eventually, it will just take a while due to rebels not moving at all

The Kingdom in the North! 1466, Scotland, Riga, and Bremen are vassals. I lead a PU with Austria, which I randomly got. This is just after I inherited Denmark Sweden and Norway, whom I forced PUs on. Planning on conquering France, the Netherlands, the Baltic states and northern Germany so that I will truly be king of the northern lands of Europe!

Well, this is my latest game... I only could become this big in this game, nothing compared with other empires I saw here (how the he** you do that? The infamy kills my ¬¬)

I started as Vijayanagar, a quick battle against Orissa and now I have 3 vassals, few war against Deccan and Celyon and I form the Hindustan in 1433.

After that, with a lot of cores to claim, I expand quickly and I earn a lot of negative prestige ^^ In the year 1471 Industan has claimed almost all their cores and in 1500 has expanded "eating" Tibet and some Timurid provinces.

But, what's next? With Russian watching me in the north I only can wensternize to the eastern tech group and the European countries don't come to asia, so if Mahoma doesn't go to the mountain... Then I found a little Rangusa, only one province with few allies, I attacked and after an horribly log journey from asia to europe I annexed.

And yes! I finally become a western country (millitary and tech) in 1606, only need to get a possitive stability and defeat the revolutions. Then: expand, defeat Wu, Xia, etc. and after a couple of bloody wars agains Russia my empire become bigger.

And nothing too much different in the next years, Russia trying to kick my ass, some european countryes that wanna get something from me and my expansion to the east, finnishing the game with this empire:
