Here is Germany as of 1729:

I started as Brandenburg in 1356, founded the Kingdom of Prussia in 1522, and then Germany in 1648. My first goal was to form Germany's borders of 1871. My army is so powerful that I believe only Russia (my ally) and Qing have the sheer numbers to be a challenge.

I also control England & Wales, western Austria, southern US and India, and the Bismarck archipelago. I would show a world map, but the file is too large for Imageshack. What can I do about this? Thanks.

If you have an image editing program (paint.net or GIMP, for example), you can simply open it, then save it as a different image type. My world map images go from 30~35 MB .bmps to, oh, 175-300 KB .pngs.

Nice Germany, btw. Borders are reasonably orderly.

Easy. From what I can tell just by looking at the map:
A large amount of poor provinces
Relatively low tech (from large empire + poor provinces)
High revolt risk - from the missionaries, and the fact that he has some rebel occupied territory
Wrong religion - from the missionaries

This doesn't take into account sliders, NIs or cores.

in 100 years, his country will be 300% better economicaly because of :
Cores
missionaries from mecca and jerusalem
he will increase his legitimacy
as you see, he does trade a bit
propably he is likely to inherit poland and bohemia
he is economicaly able to make enough buildings
propably he will westernize

Colonizing the hordes is boring, but my infamy is so high there's nothing that can be done. ;_;

Well my advice, colonize sibir first, then crimea, and after crimea, at the end astrakhan. Then colonize nogai and kazakh, then kill of tims, and colonize them, then just eat all altaic provinces, plus colonize siberia to kamchatka. Then conquer lithuania nd poland, and you can acquire riga, but do not need to care about taking rest of TO provinces(except their capital, and danzig, those are crap(maybe except warmia)).

My current sphere of influence as The Hansa, 1507. I've almost vassalized every country containing provinces that are needed to form Germany, and The Canarias just cored, so my colonization has begun. I was initially only interested in the gold provinces in southern Mexico, but decided that the coffee and sugar was worth it. Plus, when the territory cores, I'll have a base to launch further western exploration without having to go around Brazil, which I've already decided to surrender to Castille and Portugal. I'm also working on taking out Denmark to get the sound modifier. Just need Halland and Sjaeland.

After fighting a defensive war against HRE Bohemia + vassals/allies which turned into a repeat of 1812 (torched my bottleneck border prov and then attacked the 70+ stack after attrition burned it down to a more manageable #), this is where my Russia game is at. I'm thinking of holy-warring ottomans and creating the Third Rome, but the entire world hates me and I keep getting attacked for reconquests/wars of aggression/heresy purging/et al.

Also:

I don't understand why I got more WE for the victory despite them taking significantly more casualties. :blink:

Mazovia also used to have those southern provinces I'm holding now, up until they thought intervention on behalf of their warmongering prussian friends was a good idea.

Oh yeah, England's currently in a personal union with Castille and Portugal inherited Scotland before it revolted. The only country that looks somewhat normal are Ottomans, and that's due to player intervention destroying the hordes before they were eaten as usually happens.
