It feels sad.
That is simply awesome. Definitely a winner for the Ugliest Borders award.

Looks like a seahorse laying on its back looking longingly into its long gone love, lost amongst the stars. He also has a shovel for feet.
I totally see that . . . maybe . . . >.>

Ultimately, that really is quite the beautiful Europe. I'm impressed. The only thing left to do is to straighten out France's name. :p

After fighting off Denmark, I ate the crumbling Lithuania, and as Bohemia was doing their snake thing early game I had to expand south east to block access to the steppes. At one moment my armies had all broken in an unfortunate moment and the Golden Horde was carpet sieging my lands. By launching sea borne raids from Gotland and Ösel with a 3k stack, I could kill off enough 1 regiment armies to have them accept a peace where I paid tribute to them. When I later reached the black sea I could start expanding westwards.

This is how it looked just before forming Germany. Brandenburg was trolling me for the mid half of the game and postponed the forming of Germany a great deal. First they dogpiled me whenever I was at war, then they were having the most stable dynasty EVER so that I couldn't PU them, and lastly they refused to ally me so that I could diploannex them. Ended with a war of aggression. Meh.

EU3_10.jpg
Well, Germany. The sprawling in the north east was entirely boundary dispute-driven.

EU3_13.jpg
And this is how it looks after gobbling up almost all the cores, and a few more boundary disputes to the east.

nice AI Ukraine, love it
They were a little bigger before Russia formed but are now a thing of the past.

Ultimately, that really is quite the beautiful Europe. I'm impressed. The only thing left to do is to straighten out France's name. :p
Will this do? For the last forty years and for the forty years left all I've been doing is squashing rebels in my allied countries' colonies.

I also got a personal union with Portugal who is... oh right, over there. I also for the longest time had a good chance of getting a personal union with France as well but their (very old) king eventually got a heir. Oh well, Spain and now Portugal is enough.

I don't think I'm going to take any further action in this game except continue to crush rebels and hope for more unions. I'm allied with France, Great Britain, Scandinavia, and Russia; and they're all the European countries that's left besides my vassals/unions. Well, Aragon exists in America and Aquileia owns most of Southern Africa. But still. And I'd rather be allies with everyone than declare war on old friends to make the rest of the world look as nice as Europe.

The Netherlands at 1502:
netherlands2.png

Holy Roman emperor as well as monopolizing colonization in the Americas. Most of the territory is cored due to being gained from PUs inside the HRE, which were almost all forced using forged claims. I stopped conquering uncored territory in the old world after this, as there was no point, as it would only slow down my tech/stab rate.

Now just clean up the borders.

Here is my Ukraine game, I will try to retain these borders for the rest of the game, not including colonial possesions(currently only Ceylon) on the screenshot or in expansion plans.
Also, I am in the HRE and I am currently expanding colonial and mass building buildings in Ukraine Heartland.

Here is Germany as of 1729:

eu34a.png

I started as Brandenburg in 1356, founded the Kingdom of Prussia in 1522, and then Germany in 1648. My first goal was to form Germany's borders of 1871. My army is so powerful that I believe only Russia (my ally) and Qing have the sheer numbers to be a challenge.

I also control England & Wales, western Austria, southern US and India, and the Bismarck archipelago.

EDIT: Thanks, Daiyoukai. Here's the world map:

eu3mapger17297181.png

Now my goal is to conquer as much of Europe as possible before time runs out in 1861.
