I hope this doesn't come across as augmentative or combative but I'm just curious as to why the graphics requirements for this game seem to be so high when from my perspective it doesn't appear to be a visual powerhouse (not attacking the game just stating my opinion). Perhaps I'm not understanding the full function a graphics card has for gaming but I'm just finding it interesting that more visually intense games seem to have lower requirements than this game.

aren't intel graphics not supported for this game? (I don't know, i'm just really just asking)

Officially no, but it'll run anyway. Frankly, not supporting Intel Graphics in 2015 is pretty disappointing. An Iris Pro 'destroys' the minimum spec GPU by a mile.

This isn't 2012 when the best integrated graphics was an HD 4000.

Just a guess here. DX11 supposedly offloads lots of work that was usually done in the CPU to the GPU. So that things like the citizens behavior and will be calculated by the GPU.

You actually bring up an interesting point. This game has the same recommended requirements as Crysis 3. CPU wise, considering the type of game it is, the requirements are okay.

This is funny because the CPU is almost 6 years old now and I bought the video card less than 2 years ago. I knew the video card wasn't the greatest but I needed an upgrade to play a game I bought, have no patience, and it was the only one the store had.
I know. But it is no joke. It is that the card memory bandwidth (not size) severely lacks in respect to its other specifications.

Thou it is very likely the game will run just fine, dont worry.

Do you think it could meet minimum requirements?
OS=Win 7 64 Bit.
CPU=I7-3610QM@2.3 GHZ. Turbo up to 3.3 GHZ.
RAM:8 GB DDR3.
GC: Geforce GT 650M with 2GB DDR3 VRAM, DX11.
HD: Seagate 500GB@5400RPM.

Gpu around minimum, cpu better than recommended.

CPU - AMD A8-6410 APU Quad-Core @ 2.00Ghz
GPU - AMD Radeon R5
RAM - 8GB
Operation System - Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit
DirectX 11

I know I'm worried. Probably won't run at all.

Cpu better than minimum, gpu, if it's r5 230m, lower than minimum

i5 3570
AMD 280X GPU
8GB ram
64gb plextor SSD
Win7 64bit
Will this running smooth with all high effect and 2560x1600 resolution?

Should run smooth, since it better than recommended.

I'm pretty sure that my Laptop with a GT750M can easily survive the medium demand, according to official SR, but i'm a little worry about my CPU. It is a I5 4210U,yep, a U series chip. So could you please let me know does it good enough? Have you guy ever tested this game on a U CPU system?
I don't know if CO have tested an u chip. Both gpu and cpu are better than minimum.

Specs:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3317U CPU @ 1.70GHz 8GB 64-bit

It runs SC13 fine.

But i hope it does too with SC

Cpu better than minimum, but if you only ahve an intel hd 4000 integrated gpu I think your not able to run the game.

I'm confused, at the start of this thread the requirements say this
WINDOWS Minimum:

OS: Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7/8
Processor: 2 GHz Dual core
Memory: 3 GB RAM
Graphics: nVIDIA GeForce 8800, 512 MB RAM or ATI Radeon HD 3850, 512 MB RAM
DirectX: Version 9.0
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Hard Drive: 2 GB available space
Recommended:

OS: Microsoft Windows 7/8 (64-bit)
Processor: 3 GHz Quad core
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: nVIDIA GeForce GTX460, 1 GB RAM or AMD Radeon HD 6850, 1 GB RAM
DirectX: Version 9.0
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Hard Drive: 2 GB available space

Aren't those requirements incorrect, because you need DX 11 to run this game.

This is the specs for CiM2, not CSL. Also, like I keep saying. Specs only give a rough idea. If you are unfamiliar with GPUs, and you have a mobile card like a GT 650M, the specs simply stating "Geforce 8800" is pretty much useless.

Alright sorry for the confusion. I was hoping these were the requirements cause I really want CSL but I can't run it.
