Not sure with the CPU, however RAM you will for sure need more. My recommendation would be at least 16 GB RAM.

Very low powered. Looks like a mini-PC or small laptop.

It is a 2-core/4-thread CPU. Not very good for this game as it will top out in short order. maybe a few tiles and 100k pop or so.

GPU (Video Card):
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4 GB OC EDITION
This should do well as the game is low of FPS and graphics already. The highest end rigs will struggle 30ish FPS zoomed into a busy intersection

RAM: 4 GB DDR4 (2133MHz)[/quote]

This is below by a lot. It wsill likely stutter out of the game and worsen as your city grows. 8-min, 16 recommend.

Storage: 1 TB HDD (7200 rpm) and 512 GB SSD

Looks like the perfect combo. I tend to use th SSD for only windows and the HDD as Steam (games) only for best results.

Just got this new laptop, would like to see what you guys think

CPU:
Intel i7-8565U @ 1.8GHz 1.99GHz

RAM:
8GB

Video:
NVIDIA GeForce MX110 2GB

Storage:
1TB (It has an SSD slot, but I haven't bought it yet)

You should be posting these questions before purchases, not after. lol

CPU seems fine, but a little slow.

8GB RAM is minimal.

MX110 is slightly better than integrated, but it has its own video RAM so it will conserve RAM, it also will help keep the CPU cooler as the integrated bideo won't be running 100% of the time.

Be leery of any workshop. You don't have many resources to spare.

And SSD will help a lot. make sure it is windows only. Use the HDD for Steam and games for best results.

As it is, it should get 9-tiles full, even if it lags a bit here and there.

Yeah, I ran it into Can You Run It and it said the speed was actually 4.6GHz (dont know how it works)

That's likely a turbo mode or maybe it is reading spec page somewhere?

But under any gaming, the CPU will run at it's base clock and usually around +90C!

So I recommend keeping it off of your lap so it can breathe better and stay cooler.

Hi been playing a few years on console but thinking about getting a pc. Looking to use the dlc`s, traffic manager and 25 tile mod. Not looking for a massive population just want the extra space to use. Can see this will run the game but not sure as to the extras?

10th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-10700F processor

Windows 10 Home 64bit

NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1660 Ti 6GB GDDR6

16GB, 1x16GB, DDR4, 2933MHz

512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe Solid State Drive

Thanks

Hello

I am still looking into pc's as really dont want to make a mistake, would there be a dramatic difference between either of the 2 below? As said previously im not great with pc specs especially the intel or AMD comparison. Appreciate the reply previously but have since found the scout and not sure if this would be any better.

Reign Scout elite
  • Designed for esports & 1080p Gaming
  • AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX1660 Super 6GB
  • 16GB High-Performance DDR4
  • Western Digital 250GB SSD
  • Western Digital 1TB HDD
  • Genuine Windows 10 Home Pre-installed
Dell

10th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-10700F processor
Windows 10 Home 64bit

NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1660 Ti 6GB GDDR6

16GB, 1x16GB, DDR4, 2933MHz

512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe Solid State Drive

Have checked again and can actually add an extra 16gb of ram to the reign scout and its still the cheaper of the 2

So than i would recommend a CPU Upgrade in Balance to the GPU these are my suggestions, based on a "Bottleneckcheck-website":

  • i7-870
  • i7-860
  • i5-760
The i7 heave 8 threads (i5 just 4), so they can handle more calculations vor C:SL. About Prices, you will need to look up. i live in a € Region ;)

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz 3.19 GHz
Installed RAM 12.0 GB (11.9 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Graphics Card Intel UHD 630

CPU: i3 550 (3.2GHz)
Ram 12GB (DDR3)
Graphics Card: GTX 760 (2GB)

If there was one thing i could change to improve performance - what would it be?

What exact problem do you think you have, that needs fixing?

But you should be able to fill the default 9-tiles of the base game.
