Hi everybody, there are a lot of threads popping up of people asking if their computer meets the required specs. I think it would be easier to make this thread a dedicated area where people can get straight answers on their setups. There are a lot of educated people on this forum so I ask that if you know something about computers, please chip in to the discussion.

Specs we need to know:

CPU
GPU (Video Card)
RAM

Example (AMD):

CPU - AMD FX 6300
GPU - AMD RADEON R9 270x
RAM - 8GB

Example (Intel/Nvidia)

CPU - intel I5 4670k
GPU - Nvidia Geforce GTX 970

CPU: i7 3770k @3.5ghz
GPU: GTX 670 4GB? (dxdiag says anyway)
RAM: 8GB

Would I see much benefit upgrading the ram to 16GB?

I would like to have a massive city, 1920x1080 at 25fps+ would do. I dont need 144fps and 4k res.

Intel i5
Intel Iris GFX :)sad:)
Ram 4GB

My guess if I do buy it I'll be looking at potato quality/20 fps

Possibly. The processor is good and the Iris is pretty good (Any Intel i5 is usually good for gaming) as far as integrated graphics go... it's still terrible though. But as far as I can see cities skylines has very modest graphics requirements so with settings at minimum it should be playable.

Unlikely. RAM is rarely an issue :p Although we finally have a game here which can use more than 4 GB of RAM :D

Hi,
I have a mid 2011 iMac.
These are the specs:
Processor: 2,5 ghz Intel core i5
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512MB
RAM: 4GB
OS: OSX version 10.10.2

Only the RAM can be upgraded.
I know I am below the recommended configuration, but wil it do for running the game at all?

Thanks, Marcel.

My guesstimation is that you should be fine, albeit on lower graphics quality settings.

Hi,
My laptop has the following specs:
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU M 460 @ 2.53GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 420M
RAM: 4GB
OS: Win 7 64 bit

Will I be able to run the game? At any quality whatsoever? I'm not going to be buying a new computer anytime soon, so if the game will be unplayable, I won't bother buying it.
