Aragon managed to be more troublesome than the Abbassids, the Byzantines, the Germans and the French.
Really nice work with the Karens ^^ How did you manage to survive the initial situation? How to overcome those nasty Emirs?(snip-snip)

Can't speak for ciek, but what I did was swear fealty to Khiva. You have about 241 per cent relative strength, so you can just force a switch to elective, then make yourself the king. Now, of course, you have lots of angry Sunni vassals, but you should be able to beat down the revolt that inevitably follows. By this time, the realms to your south should be embroiled in civil war, so you can probably jump in and holy war a duchy from the middle one. Myself I also had a lot of help from my Zoroastrian vassals, who eagerly waged holy wars to expand my borders on their own. Just remember to usurp the duchy yourself and grant it to one of the counts they create to cut down on their size![]()
This is insane blobbing.
This forum is the way to the answars! 99% of all the questions you have/ problems you have have all been asked once before and 99% of them has some how been answared on this forumI'm truly impressed with your huge empires! However, I still can't figure out how to maintain my simple small kingdom because it always falls apart in some of many civil wars for independance/lower crown authority or such...
Looks like the future will be bright for Great Moravia.
Been trying to reform the Persian Empire under a proper (read: Zoroastrian) dynasty, and here's what I've managed so far...

Yeah, it's not really that impressive, but I haven't played CK2 in months, so I had to relearn... stuff. It certainly didn't help that the Abbasids blobbed out over the entirety of Arabia and Persia, necessitating me sending the Caliph a crapload of money every so often so that he'd leave me alone. They've been super-stable for the past century, too, despite high decadence. Well, stable other than the recent dynastic struggle that distracted them enough for me to acquire Birjand from them.
Turkmenistan used to be part of--and, in fact, was the primary title of--the country, but I gave the title up to one of my vassals so that I wouldn't have to deal with the Seljuks immediately. There's actually a 48k strong stack of Seljuks up there... just... sitting there. Perhaps enjoying watching the Nawids get eaten by Khazaria I dunno.
I'm not entirely sure what to do at this point, since I'm sure the Abbasids will go right for my throat once their current dynastic troubles sort themselves out. Given that I can't take them in a straight fight, I'm... probably boned.
