Just destroyed the last province of the golden horde. As you can see I am Scandinavia, started as Denmark, several rulers in the world are of my bloodline. HRE is gigantic and the largest army in the world, I stayed out of their business entire game and they stayed out of mine. France and byzantine are powers to me reckoned with as well.

Muslims wiped out the pope but was later reconquered. Pope stayed out of the game though. My Empire is orthodox since I had a 70 year reign of a genius, but orthodox ruler that took much of sweden and finland during his reign.

Started off as Galicia, one of the 3 less favoured kings of the Iberian Peninsula, god I love that word. Had a very slow start the Muslim powers didn't want to fight each other or rebel, so I worked slowly with my brothers expanding there claims. Eventually forced my way down gained a large sum of Portugal and the surrounding lands, pushed my way to the very bottom and then started work with my brothers expanding them, work also internally. Formed the kingdom of Portugal and started handing out duchies my vassals became quite strong and with the collapse of the Muslim nations below it has been quite easy to push through. The Muslim nations started fighting back and my brothers lost considerable lands due to it, I claimed that land and have all most secured the Iberian Peninsula from Muslim hands! GOD COMMANDS IT! The integration of 3 cultures has been extremely interesting. I have stopped my push south, I find all that sand just not worth my time, I have nearly cleaned up the top of Africa. Due to the brothers working together for once it has been quite difficult to push claims on them, slowly but steadily they will all be gone within the next 2 generations. I have deep blood connections with France and I must say with out them my Kingdom would be nothing, an early alliance that has lasted and has helped me quash my foes. After quite a large sum of money spent I have realised that I'm not going to acquire France through inheritance, so I may work towards forging an ever-lasting empire after I form the Spanish Empire. RUS is becoming a power house and will hopefully take out the horde, HRE is still strong but I fear will collapse, Byz still strong but slowly growing weaker. England has just had a slight period of stability, after so many civil wars. I'm hoping that an alliance now may prove fruitful for the future. I don't plain on expanding around Egypt but if the oppurtinity comes it may happen.

Started as Duke William I of Normandy, who became king of England in 1066. His descendant Anselm, after the family's expansion into Anjou and Brittany, took advantage of a fractured empire and invaded the HRE in 1175. He reigned for nearly 60 years, created six kingdoms, and changed the inheritance laws to primogeniture. His descendants expanded into Iberia, North Africa, Poland, etc ... until Michael II invaded the Byantine Empire, gave it to his Greek wife, and had a kid named Arnold with her who would later inherit. This man's son, Michael III, was the greatest dynasty member of all ... expanding through the Middle East, Scandinavia, and finishing off most of Iberia, North Africa, and aEgypt. He contributed 62,000 to the total score in his 94 year lifespan (his dad died when he was 6 months old and he reigned for 79 or so) ... which is now about 149,000. Family went from Normans to English to Germans to Greeks (English and Germans still the largest represented); Catholicism is spread pretty far too ... all of North Africa, 60% of Anatolia, all of the Balkans, all of Iberia, even most of Arabia has been converted. Many of the 42 kings are kinsmen of Albrecht, the current ruler. He as Holy Roman and Byzantine emperor rules England, Norway, Andalucia, and Nubia directly.

Edit: And Flanders. I think Anselm owned Flanders too when he invaded the HRE. This duke of Saxony named Leopold ruled it ... really poorly. Most of the war was fought in the Low Countries ... and I think it lasted only a few years or so. Creating kingdoms is so much fun; Germany, Lotharingia, Bavaria, Burgundy, Italy, and Bohemia (which was already extant).... I was so proud. Now, kings are a dime a dozen. I got so many, I wish there was a title between kings and emperors. I've usually kept it down to one or two kingdoms per person ... and most have only one kingdom. But the king of Hungary keeps taking Africa, and the king of Germany took Bohemia long ago. My most consolidated force (quite irritating)is Aragon, Aquitaine, and (of all places) Armenia.

Edit: I should probably note that this game is not a mod; only one I play is GoT. Well, I did do the Rise of Empires one before the addition of all the empires in the latest patch(es). But I don't really need that anymore. Now, what I DO need ... is a way to take the rest of Italy....

Edit: Oh, and it's sorta 41 "kingdoms," because Scotland is one of those republics ... ruled by a "Serene Doge."

The Empire of Brittania as of 1439, at the period of its greatest extent. I started as a county in Ireland (Leister, IIRC) and slowly built up my position -first by unifying Ireland, then taking Wales and Brittany, finally by claiming Scotland and usurping England after a civil war broke out yet again (William was initially successful, but got beaten by Harald's successors). Around 1300, I proclaimed myself the Emperor of Brittania and started overseas expansion - in Iberia and Sweden. Southern France got inherited shortly before my proclamation, due to some forgotten mariage with some third (or fourth) son of the duke of Auvergne - apparently his son was the only one to take the throne in the end. In 1439 I managed to reach my highest territorial extent, after which my Emperor died, leading to a bloody civil war that reduced my holdings back to Ireland proper. Well, sic transit gloria mundi...

I managed to put my dynasty on Byzantine throne as well (they ultimately died out), and several daughters became wives of the kaisers. I think that's not so bad, taking into account that's my first game to last into 1200s ^^'

2ltk7rp.jpg

My empire ultimately consisted of 10 kingdoms (Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Brittany, England, Greece, Portugal, Galicia, Leon, Aquitaine). Greece is a bit complicated - BYZ got overran in early 1100s, with the Seljuks creating an empire simmilar to RL Ottoman one. Then they succumbed to a crusade, which gave king of Sweden controll over Greece. Then came the gavelkind succession - and the older son got Sweden proper, while the second one recieved Greece with northern Sweden.

Started as Duchy of Bohemia, married well and eventually got the money for Kingdom of Bohemia. Took over Austria and Pommerania. After a long brutal war I managed to put a Premyslid on the throne of Denmark. I was dissappointed when shortly thereafter Croatia/Poland pressed a claim and grabbed Denmark up. Then I realized that I had married my son to a Princess of Poland. This allowed me to launch a succession crisis that was successful only because Crotia had so many revolts in Poland while I was busy besieging Denmark. Two rulers later. . .
2012-07-29_00005.jpg
Soon I will have to leave HRE. I have a ton of allies because I have married Premyslids into becoming Duke's of Savoy and Berry. Plus some Russian duchy, and a lot of counts in HRE are my dynasty.
By the way, Bohemia is very secure because your first ruler has a ton of kids, and if you institute elective in Bohemia just hold both duchies and you should inherit everything.

I don't really want Emperor title and all the civil war that comes with it. Plus I will have to fight off all the Jihads in Aragon and so forth. Ill let the Emperor be, he is pretty good at keeping the OP Muslims at bay.

Sad thing is, so long as you're King of Bohemia, they can elect you into Kaiser-ship.

The only way to be HRE-Free is to eliminate it. Or I suppose to become king of Poland and not hold any de jure HRE land as your personal demesne.

Started as the King of Poland. Aquired the Kingdoms of Leon, Bulgaria and Hungary through marriage. Have been slowly expanding in all directions, at this time I can pretty much field the troops to take anything I set my sights on. I would like to either aquire the HRE or ERE title so I can create other kingdoms and delegate them to vassels.

Earl of Dublin --> Emperor of Britannia + De Facto Emperor of France and Spain

With this game, I was originally planning to unite Britannia and secure the Holy Land for Christianity, but something had to be done with those dang Andalusians. They had taken all of the Iberian Peninsula, the Kingdom of Aquitaine, and about a 6th of France. Now they are nowhere to be found! :D

With about a hundred years left on the calendar, I'm thinking about pursuing my initial goal of securing the Holy Land -- or maybe I'll try my hand in fighting the HRE for Burgundy and Italia.

Started lucky when HRE blew up due to vassal revolts. I stayed loyal at first but when Saxony won independence I decided to backstab the Emperor and won my kingdom. Been expanding in Italy since. My brother is the King of Castille (who I need to save every 5 years due to civil wars and muslims), the Byzantine Empress is my niece and I am married to the Queen of Swabia, which means that our son will inherit almost entire southern Germany. My plan is to form the Arabian Empire and conquer the African coast.
Just won crusade for Jerusalem (87% contribution). Had much luck since Fatimids were in a civil war when Pope decided to move in. I came saw and conquered much like in Mauretania a few decades back.

Bam, for the first time in all of my playthroughs... I'm an Emperor, er... Shahanshah. Thankfully, the (now former) Sultan of Persian lost a few independence wars, letting me quickly holy war for the remaining land, allowing me to both usurp the Persian Empire from the Tarantos (who conquered the Fatimids), and get some more authority for the Zikri faith rather than burn piety on an invasion. Up next for Shahanshah Allahyar "The Confessor" Baduspanid (best nickname ever, am I right?)? Figure I'll rebuild my levies and launch an invasion for Khiva to reclaim the last of the old Persian Empire from the clutches of the Ilkhanate, who even in their weakened state may give me a challenge. Once that's accomplished, it'll be on to Syria... and then to face off with the ERE for Armenia.

And yes, I formed and passed out all the duchies. For starters, I want my Zikri faithful to actually be able to have a shot when they start their own holy wars. That, and only having a bunch of single county vassals gets incredibly boring and gamey.

Second "and yes", how awesome is that ex-Caliphate down there?
