I can't believe you didn't ever move your capital away from crappy province next to Baghdad that you start with.

That's not actually the capital I started with. The capital I started with is a few provinces west, which I still own directly. Capital shifted because I ended up owning more of the de jure duchy where that province was. I since usurped Byzantine Empire for funsies so I miiiiight move my capital to Constantinople.

Last time I played Arabian Empire I moved my capital to Constantonople and renamed it into Arabic. It was a damn good spot for managing a vast European Caliphate but I eventually moved to Rome to facilitate conquering the HRE.

Oh, I have plenty of time to conquer Europe. Gonna take France/Acquitaine with Invasions and successively holy war Galicia to get the catholic moral authority down while I wait for some HRE instability so I can take Rome and yeah... Probably won't manage that before the mongols arrive, hence the taqtaqtaqamidhaminantaqtaq sultanate. I'll probably post my 1400s map in a few weeks

Polish Emperor Darius conquered all pagans provinces on east and muslim provinces on west. The only threat is mongols and aztecs, but before they get any land, my empire will stand 2x more strong than it is.

well, yes.
The rest of Africa is in the control of Mahuretania. But ruler's dynasty has big decadence (around 80-90%) and the most time muslims fight with themselves.
I only declare wars to rebels and this is why i turned to provinces into nearly empire of Hispania.
Actually the Pope declared crusade for a Anatolia. Also my brother is ruler in Bizantine empire.

This game started rather normal, 1066 start. I was the duke of bohemia, now the king of bohemia and hungary (Thanks to a very silly crusade called on the cumans), as well as the king of poland. I let that title go because I was annoyed about constant rebellions from them. Regardless, apart from a de jure war over a county the HRE released in the middle of my territory, I've been pretty passive, only defensively fighting wars.

REGARDLESS though! The world's rather scary. What with islam united basically under one ruler, as well as pisa rivaling everyone in europe with their forces.

People probably will think that's normal. What, with republics being powerful. What's not normal is that pisa is this powerful because they're entirely lollard. They are holy warring everyone and just taking parts of france and italy, piece by piece.

As for troops, the Androusid have 174k. HRE is next with 55k.

We're so boned.

This isn't actually that strange- if Gotland manages to become independent from Sweden and there's a lot of civil wars, it can easily become a major power due to getting a lot of gold and mercenaries.
