My new WIP city,
Montemare is a south European city clearly inspired by my hometown of Lisbon. There's still a lot of work ahead, but the historic center is mostly finished.
1. An overview of the historic downtown. You can see the river square (kinda inspired by Lisbon's pre-earthquake Terreiro do Paço), the old roman aqueduct (Lisbon also has a aqueduct, not Roman though) on the background in front of Ulm cathedral. To the rght is St. Stephens cathedral that sits on top of the royal stairway (that you'll see on the next pic) and behind it the medieval castle on top of the hill.
2. An older picture. A closer look at St. Stephen's cathedral and the royal stairway that connects the downtown areas by the river to the top of Montemare's hills. At the right you can see the dome of Holy Trinity's cathedral, very reminiscent of Lisbon's National Patheon.
3. A closer look of the Roman aqueduct that was adapted with a small road on top of it (safety clearly not a top priority here

) Ulm's cathedral that dominates Montemare's skyline, the Feedom square (that was the old administrative area) and the west main railroad station.
4.East part of Montemare with the old medieval port, now adapted as a main tourist area and one of Montemare's major nightlife hubs.
5. An old overview of Montemare, it's a bit bigger nowadays.
6. And finally an overview of the port and industrial districts that are taking shape on the west part of the city.
