But yours is elevated. Is that on the workshop too?
While using this mod or other created highway intersections, try and use page up/down. Then you will get it elevated or even under the ground.
However as far I have tried it must be all created on the same level. Nothing should be higher or lower.

I have an elevated train track running around my city, but the stations are still on the ground. It's essentially just for looks.

I saw the elevated train station mod, but I don't want anything to do with any game-breaking mods. No Pillars, T++, Elevated Stations, any of those that change the infrastructure of the game are potential save-game destroyers every time an update comes along.

Is there no way to build that four way crossing without a mod? That's all I'm actually looking to do is build a four-way rail intersection like that. My actual train stations can stay ground-based until CO actually releases elevated stations into the vanilla game.

I am using this asset from the workshop, since you can't build it this way ingame.

Well, your point on the elevated train stations is right Matthias, but I think the benefits from the one or the other mod outweigh the 'risk' of a game breaker. I am playing this game since the beginning, and since the beginning with a shitload of mods activated. I NEVER had the issue that a savegame was crashed due to a mod. So I think we can take the risk. ;D

I've had two different save games come back with the null reference exception error after putting a good amount of work into them. The first was actually my first city and it was over 150,000 and climbing. I was really sad to lose that one. The second one I lost was my second city. I put some work into that one but it wasn't over 100,000 yet.

I'm working on one now that I really like so I really don't want to lose it, so I'm avoiding potentially game-breaking mods like the plague. I've only got a small handful of mods active, and I've pared my assets down to less than half what I use to have.

I don't want to play 100% vanilla, but I'm leaning a lot further that way than toward really advanced mods. Plus things like T++ are too taxing on my PC anyway.

I didn't lose them as in misplace them, I lost them as in they got an error and will no longer load. They come up with the 'null reference exception' error and load in with all the textures missing and buildings gone and nothing can be clicked on. All the roads are gone, but there's a light blue texture in their place.

thats a sign that an asset is missing. You can probably load the saved city using

That mod actually worked for one save game.

I forgot, I actually had three cities get the null reference exception error. My first one, which I was able to load thanks to that mod, my second, which is still corrupted, and my third which is also still corrupted.

At least it helped with one of them. And now going back to look at my first city, wow is it ever terrible.

I don't know what can be done with my second and third. I may just have to call it a wash and delete the save files.

Thank you for pointing me to that mod, and thanks to Bloody Penguin for creating it.

So something strange happened. I went to reload the game to unsubscribe from the SOS mod, and I realized that it was off. So first of all, that means that my first city, which has been corrupted for months, somehow fixed itself at some point and just coincidentally loaded properly when I tried it today and I only thought it was because of the mod. Then when I activated the mod, I tried my other two cities and now they work.

They had both been corrupted for almost as long as the first city, but now they're fixed.

So thanks again for bringing that mod to my attention.

On a side note, now when I subscribe to some things, they're switched off by default. I don't think this used to be the case. This is something new.
