Post-War Cooling of Relations

I have no idea how to do this (and even less time to do it) but I think it would be pretty cool if there were a set of events ready for the post-war era in the 1914 campaign that allowed for a cooling of relations between AH and Germany...maybe even a breaking of the alliance, or something of that sort, eventually leading to a second war.

A victorious Austria-Hungary, even were it strengthened by a successful experiment in Triple Monarchy, would depend rather solidly on a hyper-nationalist German Empire to continue its existence after the death of the Grand Old Emperor. This would be interesting from the perspective of a human Germany, if it offered the player a range of options from reinforcing the status quo to carving up the moribund ally and creating a range of smaller client states.

Totally agreed. First, though, they would have to make the inter-war period playable. Has anyone else had crashing issues when the Russian Civil War begins? It seems like every time a new nation declares independence from the USSR the game crashes. Any news on a fix for that or if anyone else is even experiencing that problem?

Have you by any chance already applied the beta patch? In 1.01 I have seen the various Tsarist and Central Asian polities successfully secede.

No not yet...I was just looking into finding the link to that right now. I'll post back as to whether or not it fixes my problems.
