another trait
soft - this character is so weak willed that he have no "balls" to do needed harsh decision, so his rule and authority is lowered and go down and down as time passes, allowing more ambitius and unsurpulous persons to manipulate with him at his will.

"Champion of the faith" - This character succesfully repelled a (Great Holy War/Crusade/Jihad)
martial +1
same faith opinion +5

I think it is needed because in my playthrough as a zoroastrian I fought ~10 years to survive a jihad that would have completly destroyed our faith (jihad for persia), only to find a weak useless piety bonus and no recognition from anyone

I think this sounds really good, but I'd make it a bit stronger - maybe +1 martial, +1.00 piety/month, +10 same faith opinion, +10 church opinion, +5 same faith zealous opinion.

It makes sense considering how strong crusader/mujahidin traits are.
Also a trait for zoroastrian, jewish and reformed pagans participating in a great holy war would be fair

I think that one is rolled into Possessed. Uncontrollable fits...

Basically back then things like Epilepsy were considered devil possession. It's only been in more modern times that we realised that there was a cause (and a way to stop it).
I'm sorry but you are wrong about that one.

Ancient Irish brehon law recognised epilepsy and other 'invisible' illnesses as diseases of the brain, and built in protection from exploitation and mockery. But then the brehon law was stupidly ahead of its time.

Well I'm sorry but you're going to have to elaborate. Because to the best of my knowledge, a lot of CK2's stuff is a case of "maybe magic, maybe mundane" when it comes to various events like the devil child or possessed.

Just going "YOU ARE WRONG" to my post without any proof doesn't make you right, it just makes you look like a fool.

Ancient Irish brehon law recognised epilepsy and other 'invisible' illnesses as diseases of the brain, and built in protection from exploitation and mockery. But then the brehon law was stupidly ahead of its time.
Interesting. That could well lead to an event where someone who's Possessed visits them and gets a diagnosis as being "diseased" (not quite accurate, but close enough for CK2 times) in their brain and not possessed by the Devil. It could give a modifier which mitigates part or all of "possessed's" downsides.

I think that all or most traits should be tiered. For example, tier 1 of ambitious(maybe called outgoing, or just ambitious) gives +1 to all stats and -25 opinion of liege, tier 2 is the same as the current ambitious, tier 3 is +3 to all stats but has -50 opinion of liege, -25 opinion of all landed characters, -15 general opinion, -35 spouse opinion(ambitiousness gets in the way of this characters relationships), more likely to get stressed. Third tier traits wouldn't always have large downsides, but many would.

Also, I think there should be more education traits that focus on more than one Stat, I don't have any specifics for this one.

You do know that this is possible right ? Traits can be made incompatible with other traits, so that Genius, Quick, Slow and Imbecile are all mutually incompatible.

Not a perfect spectrum but it does kind of do the trick.

Great idea, but if you just paired two traits together like this it would give you too many traits. I would rather see paired educational traits as single entries without tiers. This would give us 10 educational traits, which could be balanced by giving 4 points into the 2 relevant skills plus a -1 in another skill.
