CKII is undoubtedly my strategy game of the year. The lack of any fixed campaign goals are one of the major factors that keeps me playing this game, that and the possibility of a mega campaign. Paradox's grand strategy titles are the only series that allows the possibility of playing as a single nation of a large period of history in an enjoyable way. (Civ, somewhat but not to the same extent, and total war is not open enough and doesn't link up as well as Paradox's games do). So with EUIV close on the horizon (and sense they have done it before), I am wondering if Paradox will include a save converter for CKII to EUIV. Every since EUIV was announced I have been hoping that they do include one. It would make my playthoughs of CKII more enjoyable knowing that the realm I have spent hours crafting won't have to end in 1453. Especially after Sunset Invasion and the recent announcement of the Republic. Think of how cool it will be to keep going as the restored Rome, to have the Aztec invaders stay in the next era. And what about in The Republic, having created trade routes carrying over as well? Does anyone else have any similar hopes/theories, or even think that it would be a good idea?
