Possible to mod fog of war?

As there isn't a cheat in the game (yet) to remove fog of war, I was wondering if there was a way to mod the game to remove it or shall we have to wait for the 1.2 patch (whenever that is)?

you can make it less dark in the shaders, but it wont affect if stuf fis shown or not. sadly you cant turn it off until 1.2.

I don't regard moving the FoW as a cheat really, I use it to test the game and when I play hands off

Cant we use the console to remove it?
