Is it possible for a planet to have a mix of tiles from across the habitability wheel, such as a ocean and continental tiles and for a species to accurately receive the different habitability levels that would result?
Possible to create mixed tile planets?

Thats not possible, habitability is always planet-wide. Tiles do not have a habitability, only the planet does.
