I dunno but for a game about trading with the east indies there's not too much of it present. Is there a way to change the map to the area from maybe St.Helena to maybe Guam which would allow you to trade with places like China and Japan and include such important east indies colonies as Indonesia and the Philippines?
Then the factions would become part European but then also maybe have native traders:
NATION - HOME PORT
British HEIC - St.Helena or Gibraltar
Dutch VOC - Cape of Good Hope
French CDI - Marseilles/Toulon/Mauritius
Spanish Colonial Empire - Acapulco or Guam
OTHER NATIONS
Chinese Empire
Mughal Empire
Siamese Kingdom
Burmese Kingdom
