There has been constant complaint regarding sectors AI and situations where players see it doing "weird" things.

What if the players had the option to "over-ride" the tiles AI decision on planets belonging to a Sector? We could have a small button toggle to pay for instance 5 influence and we could do whatever we wanted with that tile. The AI would just treat the tile has non-existing from then onward. Of course the resources obtained would still go to the sector and be taxed accordingly.

In terms of Role-Playing this makes sense as well, as sometimes central government directives can override local decisions.

Yes this would increase micro management, but it would be a decision for the players to make, if they wanted to do it or not.

In my point of view, this would be a great solution for players like me who love to micromanage and maximize outputs to the max!

@Wiz what do you think of this? :)

If you could override them, then it would mean you have to look at them all time to be effective. Wich in turn would make them useless at the one job they have (reducing micro).
I doubt the Devs are ready to burry the sectors yet. And especially if they will get fleshed out more (I asume around EU Vassals) later it would be problematic if you could override them like this.
