Hi Guys,

this is not a rant-post but I got curious when I was playing as the Byzantines and took a peek at my Task-Manager.
One of my 4 Cores was at 100% with the other at around 20% and the in-game days went by really slowly, with all the mousemovement-lag you all probably are aware off.

As far as I recall, this comes from the insane amount of courtiers and the events that take place between each other.

Is there actually potential for a performance upgrade? I mean, it looks to me that CK2 is currently a single-threaded application and to have it run on all availlable cores would not only benefit the game, but take a lot of head-scratching from future developement-progression.

Is the game-engine actually capable of running multi-threaded calculations?

I already disbled trees, which helps a little bit.
Are there any other "cosmetics" that you can disable without altering the game?

Thanks for your help.
Mike
