I am not sure if this is a bug, so I am asking those in the know to take a peek and let me know. As I understand the rules, a subject nation may not declare war upon its master, yet in this situation I see Manchuko having war goals against the Japanese Shogunate, despite still being a subject, and both are fighting China and Communist China. At the same time, Manchuko just picked "Obedience", and trying to snatch Korea from its master doesn't seem like a good start to an effort at being "Obedient". I get that there is a bit of strangeness from time to time, but this does seem to be a rule violation to me. This is not the same as Hungary demanding sovereignty over Slovakia - Hungary is not a subject of Germany when it does that [and usually gets told NO].
Anyhow, if someone could let me know, then I'll post this in the bug forum.
This isn't game breaking for me - thought I should add that. For this playthrough, Asian events matter little to me.
