Possible bug - master doesn´t join junior´s war?

As Muscowy I declared on Poland while they were being spanked by the Ottomans and they simply didn´t join my war versus Lithuania. And yes the chance to PU is to continue, not break. Anyone else ever saw this?

And who is the master and who the junior?

The usual, Poland is the the master and Lithuania is the junior.

So you declared on the master and the junior didn't join? They would not join if they have 50+ liberty desire.

No, I did fight Lithuania, for Smolensk and other stuff (this is Muscowy Period pre 1500 BTW).

I had something similar happen in my England/GB game recently. I kicked Portugal out of Europe (by mistake, meant to eat them whole) and they used their decision to form Brazil. The province(s?) left in Europe became a new Portugal under PU of Brazil. I attacked Brazil to continue eating them, expecting Portugal to be included, but they weren’t (Brazil’s other colonies WERE called in as expected). The following month I was able to declare a separate war on Portugal. Very strange.

Another bizarre thing.

The ottomans... still don´t know me. I´m unknown! Even throughy Zaporozhie is my vassal!

At this point I don´t even know what bugs exist I´m not aware of...

Also topic for another thread but the turks REALLY shouldn´t ally Aq Qoyunlu so often. They are blocked way too often by it.

Yeah, that is the part of new post-colonial nation formation decision. I had it happen with Holland and Dutch USA. But I think Holland (reduced to Amsterdam) remained independent. Maybe it's different for Brazil.

I see nothing there indicating that Ottomans don't know about Muscovy. To see if they discovered, you would have to tag-switch to Ottomans.

1- They were already in PU and no they would be likely to be dragged as a defender anyway due to bonuses.

2- The screenshot was to show that not only I have a nearby province but also a direct vassal is neighbour to them. I do know how to check when a nation sees you as Unknown, thank you.

You're totally right. I was thinking about my Austria run where I got Hungary as a junior partner via an event, and they didn't join my ongoing wars. That's a completely different situation.
