well i wanted to make the title clear so there isnt much to add besides the history, i did this twice now:
as one of the iberian kings conquering valencia, getting some muslim i cant remember as your vassal in the peacedeal. then opening the realm tree and clicking on him makes the game crash to desktop.
maybe im missing something but im pretty sure the muslim thingy is the culprit
