I set up some new ai files for the nationalist chinese (among others). The build ratio for them is:
infantry - 90
cavalry - 5
tac bombers - 5
However, when starting a new game the infantry percentage is lowered by 15 points and is used to make:
fighter - 15
So now it reads:
infantry - 75
cavalry - 5
fighter - 15
tac bombers - 5
Note that I specifically set fighter = 0, but the game is overriding my directives. If I reset infantry = 80, the game will take 15 points from this (again) and make:
infantry - 65
cavalry - 5
fighter - 15
tac bombers - 5
etc...
Why on god's green earth is the game overriding my instructions and deciding to create fighters when I tell it not to? And no, it's using the right file (which I can verify just by changing the infantry amount and watching it deduct 15 from that amount in the save...to make fighters).
Any help in telling the damned ai to do what the bloody hell I tell it to do would be appreciated.
