Posessed Heir- how much trouble am I in for?

So my current heir, who had previously good stats and traits just randomly rolled up posessed.

He's in a very important political marriage, one that will see a new kingdom handed to my grandson, so playing someone else isn't an option. How much trouble am I in for with the Posessed trait once I take over? Any suggestions?

I've never played a possessed or lunatic character.

Possession isn't that bad, it just means that females dislike him (-25) and you get these episodes where you think either the devil or Jesus speaks to you (which means that you either gain or lose piety and either way get -20 church opinion). This stuff isn't that bad to deal with, especially if you got a character that is otherwise skilled.

Possessed characters are a lot of fun with their special events. You'll have some more struggle keeping the realm together, but that can be quite enjoyable gameplay.

Personally, I think anything that the game throws at you is worth playing. I find it a lot of fun building up a big, strong dynasty, and find it even more fun when that same dynasty falls apart!

I had a possessed King for ~40 years and have never had any special event pop. It also didn't effect any relations that I gave any significance...

Some of my best rulers have been either Lunatics or Possessed.
