So here we are again. Back on Portugal's throne with all of history waiting for us to step into it. Nearly 7 years ago I started my first LP of Portugal and after a vote it is time to do it again. To see where things have changed with me and with the game over those many many years. So everyone get ready to make a whole lot of coin.

So I plan to of course go Colonial. What kind of dull Portugal game would it be if I didn't? There are lands to find and wealth to be shipped home.

So in my experience when I play in Europe France does quite well. It is when I am off somewhere else it does weird things. Yet this feels like it might be a weird France.

Hey Ottomans why haven't you headed south for the Mamluks yet? Hurry up and make trouble for them for me.

No lucky wedding for Castile I think this go around.

Slight goof with the points but now we have the colonies started.

So advice if you go the Colonial game. Get 5 provinces in each colonial region as quick as you can it will keep the other Catholic nations away from those lands at least for a bit.

France seems to have rebounded from the damage they took earlier on. Still no war between the Ottomans and the Mamluks. Strange that.

Once our lands overseas are all set up we are going to be making just so much money from trade.

Naples is doing really well for themselves. I wonder what might come of them. Maybe an Italy by the AI?

So it would appear that Castile thinks that the Louisiana region is particularly vital to the future of their nation.

My explorer's just took the weirdest path around.

I will make Pexico just absolutely great.

I let England get into South America. Ahh well. I suppose it was only to be expected right?

I don't like Great Britain showing such interests in the Caribbean. Not one bit.

This reminds me I saw the Emperor's New Groove for the first time recently. So I should conquer the Inca right?

There has to be a silly amount of Portugese speakers in the world now. The language of trade and commerce perhaps?

Come on France either get your act together or fall apart. This indecisiveness is testing my patience.

Why does Pexico not have a good army? They should be able to afford something right? Right?
