Is this an impossible situation?
I'm playing Portugal for the first time.* Some event has fired and now I'm at war against China, a country which I have no diplomatic relations with, nor have any of its provinces been discovered. Spain was my ally but they chickened out. The event gives me a province in the middle of Terra Incognita, and somehow I'm supposed to defend it?
Since the province is Guangdong and not Macao, maybe I'm "supposed" to lose, historically speaking? Anyway I'd give it back to China in exchange for peace...but my diplomats won't go into Terra Incognita.
*more precisely the first time I played Portugal past 1500. And I actually haven't cheated in this game
, although I've had to mint like crazy until I could capture Zanzibar.
