So I tried to do a carrier port strike on pearl harbor or midway as Japan, enemy ships were in port and my planes had range of port Aswell as the whole land province state, however they never launched even after several days. I noticed I got a huge negative modifier due to not having range over the entire air region. Am I missing something here or is this the issue, I feel like the fact that the devs added the tora tora tora event/decision for Japan means it was tested. I know I could get high range bombers or heavy fighters but then what is the point of carriers if those planes can not attack a port in same province they are in just because they cant reach the open sea in other directions?
