Ok peeps... I need EVERY POSSIBLE info on population of different provinces in 1820. The setup of 1720 which we are working upon is outdated for this ;)
So come on... Hannibal Barca & others ;)

If at all possible you could change the goods. Like create cocoa, tools, or perhaps opium? Aslo Muhhamed Ali of Egypt reformed the Egyptian economy and introduced cotton in Egypt, could that be an idea? Also what happened after the the American Civil War was that the last country in the World to trade slaves with Africa? I ask because I know Europeans ended slavery earlier...If so would this have an impact on the Slave commodity in Africa, and what would you put in its place? Just a few ideas and thoughts thanks!

Immigrants, throughout the AON there were litterly millions of people who flocked from Europe to America for a better life, freedom from oppresion, and even food (Irish Potatao Famine). I think a few American states would have to increse the base tax a bit also, but what about all that PTI out west? That was all explored by 1820, and also the interior of Africa, Austrailia, Siberia, and South America what about those PTI? Also the slave trade in the Americas before hand also "forcefully" immigrated Africans to the Americas as well. Africans were still people and even though the Slave Trade was mostly over in 1820 (at least in Europe) it still happened and all the free Africans in the Americas...A few opinions, hope it helps.

My suggestion is to use the populations of the Napoleon's Ambition scenario, that's at least what I did in my template. Maybe you could add 5-10% or something.

I don't know about the migration to America (the continent). It was mostly caused by the huge population growth in Europe. My suggestion is that it should be handled with random events.

THe only cities in N.A. with a pop over 100,000 are correct, New York, Philly, and Boston... the capitol should be in Philly though, unless your going to put washington D.C. in Chesapeake...

I can start working on populations if you want. The only thing I know right now is that Naples had some 300,000 already in the 1600s.

However, before I start, I think we need to decide whether the population should reflect the population of the cities or of the provinces as a whole.

Ok... I guess I always saw the population of Ireland as about 15,000 because thats what it is in EU...

as for Washington D.C... you have alexandria in Powhatten, but thats not the same thing. Washington should be the capitol as well...

Sadly I'll be away for two weeks and I can't help out here until then (didn't know that when I wrote that). However, the army will soon let go of me and I will have more spare time.
