Hi fellow gamers and hopefully some devs - Been playing this game for ages and got my base/community fully updated and swimming in resources and so now for a few polite suggestions bearing in mind that the Devs might already have solutions planned in future updates.

Population -
With the ever increasing flood of people trying to join your base and the baby explosion of your 'amorous sims' it can be too easy to get carried away and grow your sim community too fast. I would really like to see a quick but immersive way to cull the masses! I was thinking along the lines of an option in the arena building to make combat 'to the death' which you could turn on or off and would give either an increased negative happiness (as a strategy balance) or would give an increased happiness bonus knowing how sad human nature can be (eg 'the governor' of woodbury lol).

Concerning the baby boom I don't suggest throwing them to the gladiators or lions lol but instead I suggest an option or upgrade at the medic building to introduce contraception rules to prevent further baby production (again this would have to be a toggle type option)

Thanks for reading and hope you think my suggestions are useful. At the moment I control over population by removing all the staff in my medical buildings and letting people die of radiation and injuries, which works well but is not very immersive.

There currently is no death from old age in StA, so only events can cause a population reduction. You could always look at how many "days" it takes for a child to become an adult. Increase that and you will also reduce your population boom (assuming it's only adults that generate more kids).
